We travelled around DR and stayed two-three nights in cca 7 different locations and I must say that this was our top! The room perfect - simple, but all you need is there. Great views to the mountains. The top bonus is Tim, the owner, a great friendly guy who helped us a lot with planning next days. Only very...

We stayed at Tim's place for 2 nights. We occupied the room on the top floor which has a nice little terrace. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom a bit out dated. However the common kitchen was rather dirty. It is true that there is a chicken farm next door creating a lot...

We stayed in this guest house during 2 nights and had a great time. We went on the whole day excursion with Monchi,a guide, who showed us beautiful surroundings. Tim's family was very friendly and we definitely recommend this accomodation for couples and families.

I stayed in Tim's guest-house one night. It was perfect for what I needed, and I had my own bathroom which was an added plus. (But worth noting that the shower was cold!) This spot is perfect for solo travelers. I only used the room to shower and regroup, and ate a great dinner in town at Solo Alitas -...

We prefer to stay in a town rather than a resort a few miles out and options are limited in Jarabacoa so we ended up at Jarabacoa guest house run by a long term resident of the town,German ex pat Tim. He met us at the gas station on arrival and led us in vehicle convoy to the guest house...

This is a good value little place if you are on a budget and want (or don't mind) to be out of the centre of town. The nice German owner Tim picked us up from the bus stop. The rooms are in a small block built at the back of his house, so if you want an experience of life...

I have never been treated so nicely in a hotel before- not only are the rooms clean, but the owners are amongst the nicest people in this industry, offering to pick me up from the bus station, helping with food and with putting me in touch with activity organisers. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed at this guest-house on Dec 9th 2012 for one night. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt home. Tim, the owner of the guesthouse, made every effort to help us and made sure we have everything we needed. He responded to all our emails and confirmed our reservation. He also offered to pick us up...
