The auberge is a lovely place in this tiny village. Each room seems to be decorated in a different way. We did not see the other rooms but we liked ours: large, well equiped and decorated. The breakfast was incredibly good. It was not a buffet. but everyhing we got was so appealing... we wanted to eat everything but we...

Recommended Highly Situated in the Northern Beaujolais hills in the sleepy Wine village of St Amour, I cannot speak highly enough about this Boutique Hotel. Casual but efficient service, Individual rooms each offering something different, quirky decor and design of bedrooms and a restaurant to die for. Perfect. There is a small pool which is delightful to swim in, a...

We chose this hotel for its location, but quickly realised this is not the main reason people come here. Definitely a "boutique" hotel replete with quirky decor - there is a surprise around every corner. The room we had ("Nigelle") was large and comfortable, with only minor problems navigating around the decorative objects. The dinner is a tasting menu lasting...

The degustation was an exciting creative gastronomic journey. Breakfast was best I've had in Europe with an amazing bountiful spread. Staff and ambience delightful. The rooms were delightful, a wonderful experience.

We stopped off here for an evening while driving to the South and were more than pleasantly surprised by what we found. It helped that the weather was fantastic but we were greeted warmly by Cyril who checked us in early. We then had time for a dip in the pool where we were brought drinks before visiting the Lassagne...

Lovely overnight stay on way to cote d'azur. Small and friendly. Interesting and comfortable decor, a pool in the garden just big enough to cool off and have a bit of exercise. I didn't eat as I was travelling on my own but observations of what diners were eating looked delicious. Would go back and stay and explore the area...

Sadly we only stayed one night, but were truly amazed. The service, rooms and location was outstanding. Situated in a pretty village surrounded by vineyards. The staff were very helpful. The family room was huge and sumptuous. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. All local and home made produce. So tasty and plentiful. Fresh eggs, fruit, compote, breads,...

This is absolutely our sort of hotel, small, impeccably furnished in a very modern style with an owner who has deserved been awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant. Add some great friendly staff, some sunshine and a nice garden and a swimming pool. Perfection. Although there are some other great restaurants around to miss the degustation meal would be...

This was our 4th stay in as many years but this time there was a problem! - We arrived with another couple (Cousins) but our booking had been mistakenly cancelled(!) so there was only one room left. Disaster..... However.... Our cousins took the one room (the new suite which the hotel let us have for the original room price) and...

We arrived at this charming hotel after 6 hours on Vespa scooters from Annecy, and received the most fantastic welcome by the reception. We are both in our 60's and they told us we were like teenagers...this helps to make you love a hotel! The interior design is done in the most incredibly modern style, and our bedroom led out...
