Montsoreau is a lovely village on a steep hillside above the Loire. The hotel is right in the middle of it, with lovely views of the Chateau and the river. A very quiet spot. It's been modernized, and our room was comfortable, but pretty small. (Wifi was spotty, too). Since it's set into the hillside, the breakfast room is actually...

They are the only Hotel in the village and need some competition. Plus side outstanding view from our room and lovely huge beds. Room 12. Restaurant was poor quality for the price. The breakfast at 12 euros was the weakest we have had in France it felt mean. Eat elsewhere and enjoy the view.

This is a quaint hotel, family run, that has an outstanding location next to the Montsoreau Chateau. Hundreds of years old. Plenty of creaky floorboards! We stayed here for two nights had a smallish room in a three room annexe right next to the main building. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was Ok. Not sure how many...

Stayed for a weekend for a friends wedding and was delighted by this hotel. Clean and beautifully decorated room with stunning view of the river and Chateau Montsoreau. In a beautiful and quiet location, would highly recommend for exploring the Loire region.

A family run hotel. Absolutely charming place to stay, not your usual 'run of the mill hotel'; quaint but comfortable. Our room was beautiful with stunning views across to the river and the chateau on the opposite side of the road. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast in the 'cave' was an experience that won't be forgotten. I...

Having read the previous reviews there is little that I can add about the hotel's stunning location. The views are spectacular from the bedrooms, the terrace, the restaurant and even from the car park. Our car must have felt totally spoiled being left in such an attractive setting (see photo). We enjoyed every aspect of our stay but particular reference...

Three night stay with two pre-teens. Family room was very comfortable and had been recently renovated. One double and two single beds Friendly staff. Very relaxing hotel and area after the bustle of Paris. Highly recommended.

We found this hotel by chance and booked to stay for three nights, but liked it so much we stayed for eight! The setting was perfect - our room overlooked the terrace, the chateau and the Loire. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room extremely comfortable. Dinner on the terrace was lovely - the food was good and...

We spent 1 night at this hotel between Blois and Puy du Fou and were not disappointed. Our rooms overlooked the stunning Monsoreau Castle, which looks gorgeous in the evening light. The rooms were very comfortable (full bathtub, nice bedding, good space) and nicely furnished. The building is obviously very old and there is no elevator (steps are steep), but...
