The room was alright, though quite stuffy with no air conditioning. Lovely location alongside the Pont Canal. Staff very pleasant and restaurant ok. Breakfast average. Secure car parking with keypad code behind hotel.

Such a disappointment, had read good reviews of this place in the past, unfortunately they no longer apply. My husband and I had the set menu (16 Euros each). A plate of charcuterie each OK. Main course, husband had hake cooked well but rice well overcooked. I had chicken which was so dry it was almost impossible to swallow and...

Great location, by the Pont-canal. The room and bathroom were clean but somewhat dated and the shower needed a little work to stay in place!! Bed comfortable, only one socket in the room tricky to charge our electrical goods!! We ate in the restaurant, had the set menu which was very good value.

We stayed here for one night in September without booking ahead. The staff were very helpful and gave great welcome and service. Our room was very large (family room), with dated decor, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast and Set Menu (Euro16) was very good value. The secure car park was a bonus, but the side entrance security door took...

We booked this hotel to break up a long journey south. We have visited the town previously and thought this Auberge would be ideal as it had a restaurant and was adjacent to the famous Pont-canal. On arrival we found the hotel almost without any lighting. The entrance to the accommodation stated enter by the restaurant and when you walked...

..........by the canal in Briare is a great place to stay! This hotel is in a great location just a short stroll from the Pont Canal de Briare and a great place to sit outside in the evening to enjoy a meal. The hotel itself is a little tired and run down and there was dust on the floor in...

Excellent location for the Aqueduct, which is well worth a visit. The chap who checked us in was very pleasant but my biggest complaint was the state of the bathroom !! Our room was large with very old fashioned furniture, bedding etc (think 1970's brown, orange & green) with discoloured wallpaper loose on the wall & capped pipes. This I...
