Absolutely awful. Roof leaked onto bed all night. My feet were sopping wet all night. Bathroom had tons of leaks. No water to shower this morning. No drinking water in room. No lights outside, difficult to find the room in pitch dark.

Perfect rural location. Peaceful, tranquil setting amidst green fields. Well worth a visit. Price of my room included a huge English breakfast. En-suite rooms are clean and comfortable. Dinning room and pub full of character. An historic building which saw action during the Anglo-Xhosa frontier wars. Also, boasts a lovely outdoor pool. Recommended.
