Arrive here coming from the Ciampino train station in about 15 - 20 minutes, good hotel for those who want an accommodation near the airport, it ensures a transfer for those who want. The day is galley from airplanes but at night it is good, from 23:00 it is quiet, no more take off or land any plane. Near the hotel there is a restaurant and shop within 5 minutes walk. Clean rooms with everything you need.

As an aircraft enthusiast, the hotel was ideal. However, for a quiet hotel I would avoid. The hotel is by the runway at the airport so expect some aircraft noise. A basic hotel but was cheap enough. The staff were helpful with choice of room and were happy to accomodate my wishes. There is no restaurant for evening meals but a couple of eateries nearby. Breakfast was included and was a typical Italian fare. Would I return? certainly.

I do not understand the negative reviews here. For less than 40eu, we have a bed in a clean room, and a delightful pool. And honestly, this has been the best customer service interaction of our entire 7 night stay in Italy. It's not the Ritz, it's a little (only a little dated), It is 10 minutes walk to the train station. I would say its on an equal par in terms of cleanliness and comfort, to the Villa Mercede in Frascati, which cost 5 times the price. (and this place has a nicer pool, and nicer staff). Downside: you can hear the planes taking off. But, its an Airport hotel!! If I find myself back in the Rome/Frascati region, I would absolutely book this hotel again and use as a base for exploring the region, train is 1.20 into rome/frascati.

My Italian family who live in Campino put my husband and me up in this hotel for our holiday. We spent four nights at the hotel and am surprised at some of the negative comments. We had zero issues with the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. We were on the second floor and had a small balcony (no view). It was nice to step outside for fresh air. The AC worked wonderful, the shower and bathroom were both spacious. There is even a nice counter running along the mirror to place bathroom items. The bed was very low and somewhat hard but we were exhausted from our long, hot days in Rome that we never complained! We never ate the breakfast or used the pool so I cannot speak to those two amenities. There is a vending machine in the lobby that can be used for drinks and snack. The WiFi worked fine in our room. We never had a problem with connectivity in the room. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel. We will most likely return when we visit family again as it is. A great location to them and the city! The only complaint I can think of is the key is very large and cumbersome. It barely fit in my purse. But other than that it was a great stay.

It's worth mentioning that we paid an extra €8 per day for a "premium" room (red and brown bedding as shown in pictures). Arriving at the hotel, receptionist was very friendly and gave us directions to local amenities which was helpful. Had difficulty with our lock on the door, very stiff to open and close, however staff were kind enough to show us how to open and lock it. Room itself was very clean and spacious for the two of us, including a hairdryer, working aircon and mini fridge. Only negative is that there is no where to store large bags and suitcases and there's no safe in the room. Even had a small balcony that you could walk out onto, overlooking the pool, which was a nice bonus. Was very useful for drying our towels on after going in the pool etc. As mentioned in previous reviews, you can hear the planes from the near by airport, but they only ran from 6am-11pm. This however, did not bother us as we are out most of the day in Rome and the noise isn't that loud when balcony door is shut. Breakfast is not even worth a looking at! For €6 per person, the breakfast consisted of sweet cakes and weird juice and coffee. Milk was off and overall, the breakfast looked as if it had been sat there for a few days, but there was local cafes near by. We didn't think we would use the pool often as we were in touring in Rome, but we used the pool almost every day due to it's late opening hours. The sun loungers around the pool were very nice and all had parasols. Only problem is there's no bar provided in the hotel, and it would be nice to lounge and drink alcohol. However the hotel staff had no problem with you brining in your own alcohol. Local area surrounding the hotel was very pleasant, local supermarket 10 min walk away, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The train into Rome which we used every day was easy to navigate, trains were very regular and only €1.50 to get from Ciampino to Roma Termini which was very reasonable. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and was nice to see another part of Italy and not just Rome itself. Great hotel for travellers and couples, maybe not so much for families. Would happily return to Ciampino Hotel.
