We stayed at this hotel for 1 night while attending a concert in Delamere Forest . The rooms were very clean with ample storage etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive . The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. This all added to a very enjoyable weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful hotel full of character, with a great menu, the food sublime. Good links to the major cities in the northwest, relaxed and friendly. The only downside is that you can hear the traffic on the nearby M56

Dirty room with dust on the mirror. Very old mouldy chips on the floor just under the bed. Electric plastic cover off housing and left on the side. The bathroom had a large hole next to the light. The shaving light worked only when I taped it. Room 10 needs painting and fixing up. Breakfast was nice but the stay...

Colleague and I arrived early evening - first impression was a stale, musty smell in reception, followed by worn carpets and furnishings. My room had an unmade bed and a vacuum cleaner in the middle of the floor - apparently abandoned by housekeeping... The new room was better and in the main building, but there was no way to keep...

The Old Hall is in a great location right on the main road close to all of the village amenities. There is a car park at the back. Hotel is an interesting collection of rooms and the food was good. Room slightly on the small side but was adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stop again if in area.

I came for Sunday Lunch with my family for my nephews 18th Birthday celebration. The menu for the Restaurant Sunday Lunch is value for money. Not only very reasonable in price but has a great choice and the food will not disappoint. The roasts are highly recommended and all the food was served piping hot. The staff were very pleasant...

I have stopped here on many occasions and love it. Clean, lots of character, free off street parking, friendly staff, great food and located in the centre of the main run of bars and restaurants. The Old Hall retains much of its charm and character in the old building, within the bar area is a cosy fire place for winter...

Have stayed here numerous times and have enjoyed every one. It's in a brilliant location with plenty of great pubs and restaurants including its own right on your doorstep. Staff are always pleasant and can't do enough for you. Highly recommended you try it

As has already been said in previous reviews from my colleagues at the baby shower, the whole experience was very unpleasant. One staff member in particular was very rude and made the whole group feel very anxious and unwelcome during our baby shower. However, I was thoroughly distrusted in the way in which she later spoke to my friend at...

I cannot stress enough the awful exerience we had at this venue. We booked for 17 people to attend a baby shower and to say we were disapointed is an understatement. Unfortunately despite the location being great and the hotel being quaint that is where my positive message has to end. The service we received was disgusting. The waitress service...
