Visited with my son and our dog. The pub is meant to be dog friendly. Dog was allowed in but the chap behind the bar was clearly reluctant and not very welcoming. We ordered food which arrived promptly, too promptly. The veg was grossly over cooked and watery whilst our mains were barely edible. We won't be returning.

only 2 rooms available. stayed for 2 nights on a business/work trip. lovely area. Bar was disappointing though. Bar ran out of spirits and staff said non available ! The ales that are advertised on website dont exist except for one pale ale. The manager didn't seem bothered about the place and told us he was leaving in Jan 2017...

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding reception in Frodsham. Our room was clean, functional and nicely decorated, breakfast was included and was very tasty and served promptly. We also had a bar snack during our stay, which again was very tasty and good value for money. On Friday evening we enjoyed the locals company and my...

The room was clean and tidy but the property is in poor condition. Stairs to room smell strongly of dog and carpets are stained. The bar area which is your downstairs and reception in 1 is unfortunately not much better. Glasses are dirty from dishwasher. Tables are stick and condiment trays are dirty so much so we left and went...

We stayed here on a Sunday night. The room was nice, clean and spacious. However the pub itself and food were a let down. The website advertises a carvery on a Sunday which we were looking forward to but there is no carvery available which was very disappointing as this was part of the reason we chose to stay here....

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We had room 2. We stayed on a Friday and there was a live band on. It was only a small area but good entertainment. There was a steak special on as well which was cooked just right with a glass of wine each as well. Hence a very good night...

Stayed here for one night whilst attending a function in Frodsham. Room adequate for one night, we had two singles pushed together, kept falling through the gap ! Room warm and comfy, tea making facilities, but no shower gel, shampoo etc, but plenty of clean towels. Rooms not throughly checked though cause we found socks and hankerchiefs in the drawer...

we booked this and got a good deal so dint expect too much, but, we were pleasantly surprised! the rooms were lovely and as they faced the rear, were very quiet. it is a local pub that gets mainly locals in it. its a bit out of the way so you need a car. the food is basic but good...

We stayed for our 3rd B&B visit to the Horseshoe Inn on a Monday after a brief visit to the Lady Heyes centre. A quiet evening with few customers but a warm welcome when we booked in. We had room 2, the double bedded room and it was bright and clean. We ate later downstairs. The menu was varied with...
