COSI Samui Chaweng Beach hotel is frequently celebrated for its prime location close to shopping, nightlife, and the beach, offering guests a central hub for their activities. The rooms are often commended for their cleanliness and comfort, although some guests have pointed out issues with size, soundproofing, and maintenance. While the hotel's atmosphere is typically described as welcoming, there are mixed feelings about the staff and noise levels.
Amenities like the powerful showers are appreciated, but the lack of in-room refreshments has been noted. Service is largely seen as friendly and efficient, contributing to the hotel's good value for money.

Very comfortable in location. Literally 2 minutes and you're on the beach. Wall-to-wall with Shopping Festival. The staff is friendly and responsive. On the plus side:
Location, pretty fresh renovation. Out of the cons: room cleaning is poor (change towels daily , that's it) - neither floor cleaning, sweeping , nor changing bed linen. The biggest downside is not being able to open a window, they're all deaf in every room. As a consequence - the linen dries for 2 days (the room has a small folding dryer). No hair dryer. Didn't like the stupid system with the key cards yet - to get the elevator up to the right floor, you need not just to press the button , but also the card to scan (and they are constantly glitching). The hotel has a swimming pool with sunbeds -mattresses, never swimming or lying down, somehow not hygienic. There is a wash , 50 baht is worth 1 wash cycle (40 baht wash itself and 10 laundry products), per cycle you can wash 5-7 kg of clothes. Dryer - 60 baht. At the hotel there is a corner coffee shop, prices : croissant with ham and cheese 139 baht, coffee/tea 65 baht.

The staff at Cosi Samui Chaweng Beach were very accommodating to all of my needs. The rooms had extra towels (4 instead of 2) so that you can go to the beach and get them sandy but still have fresh ones back at the room. There is a pool and self service laundry room (only 100THB for up to 8kg, really good deal based on prices around that area) with a clothes iron and baskets available for use. They also provide coupons for the 247 Cafe, and the desserts there are really nice.
However, the biggest shout out goes to the staff! They are all very welcoming and helpful with any additional questions or concerns I had. They all speak good English, and the manager Joy will go the extra step to make sure your stay is comfortable. I would highly recommend to choose this hotel for your stay on Koh Samui.

The hotel location is in the middle of tourist attractions. Various restaurants are next to Central Samui Department Store.
There is a street market near the hotel. There is enough car parking for guests. We walked to Chaweng Beach. It takes less than 5 minutes.
The employees are very nice, the service is friendly. Recommended restaurants tourist attraction The rooms and beds are very soft, suitable for the price. I recommend Cozy Hotel as another option for everyone.

The hotel light wouldn’t turn off after 3 attempts of asking the receptionist to fix it, they finally did by turning the bulbs off which left us with the bedside lights for 5 nights. Was unable to change rooms because they said they were full which left us in the most nosiest room ever. Bang next to smoking area and the lifts which had us up every hour from the noise. The fishermen villages played music that loud the hotel room was shaking. Dead flys are in pool at all times probably get cleaned. Our room finally got cleaned on the 4th day !

Dear Valued Guest. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. We regret that the issue with the room lighting was not resolved promptly and that we were unable to offer you an alternative room due to full occupancy. We understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with noise from nearby areas, and we apologize for the disturbance this caused. Regarding the cleanliness of the pool and your room, we are very sorry that our housekeeping standards fell short during your stay. This is not reflective of the experience we strive to provide, and we will be addressing these concerns with our team to ensure improvements are made. Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the comfortable and enjoyable stay you deserve. Warm regards, Napapong Dechachanchai operations Manager.

This place is like an over priced boarding house. I'm was told at booking that all my meals will be provided. They only have a small front office cafe. and I was charged at regular price. I requested a top floor room, but they put me in a noisy stuffy basement, near the parking garage. There's a water pipe with hose, people washing things in front of the room.

As first time travellers to Koh Samui we were looking for somewhere very central to the vibrant food/night market scene & this place absolutely hits the mark. It was a little more budget than we are used to but the room was serviceable & comfortable enough (except for the pillows). There is a pool with bean bags around it on the rooftop that we took full advantage of as well as a good little cafe in the reception area (unfortunately no gluten free options) & a chill zone (see photos) in a loft area above it. As with everything in Thailand the thing that makes it special are the staff & COSI is no different. They were all an absolute delight & made us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to be walking distance from shopping, restaurants, massage , bars etc or for those on a limited budget.

Everything is very worthy, the only inconvenience is that the windows do not open, otherwise everything is great
the staff is very helpful. There is a coffee shop at the reception.
the rooms go down, that is, the reception is on the 3rd floor, and the floors below are the rooms.
the festival is nearby, there is a night market with food nearby. The festival is not very big compared to what is in Pattaya or Phuket.
There are a lot of decent cafes around, Fuji, Starbucks, Shabushi, there is a KFS.
to get to the beach, apparently you will have to go through the territories of cafes and hotels that are located across the road, not everything has been explored yet.
the development is very dense, the beach strip is quite narrow, there is a lot of garbage on the beach, but the sand is very white and the sea is clear

Small, dark rooms, very dark. No shampoo, hair conditioner, toothpaste, brush, hair dryer and laundry service (self service only). The cost per day is 2 thousand baht (such for this level) . Pros: location in the heart of the party and good parking.
