My wife and I came to Koh Samui to spend time with my brother-in-law, who travels with his dog. As Hyatt loyalists, we were delighted to see that the four-month-old Regency Samui was pet-friendly. As many of you pet owners/lovers might know, it's not easy to find pet-friendly accommodation in Thailand as of yet. We're wrapping up a 16-night stay, and marvel at the fact how time flew by. The hotel pre-arrival team was very responsive and helpful in answering our questions. We were warmly welcomed into the resort by the GM Adrian himself and the front-office manager Khun Tawan. Khun Sean, the guest services manager, has been there for us the entire time. We see him at 7am in the morning, and past 9pm at night, and wonder if he ever leaves the hotel to rest. The two of us are vegetarians with some additional restrictions, and my brother-in-law Vegan. The hotel culinary team took our dietary requirements seriously, and couldn't have been more gracious in creating delicious food at all times of the day. Special thanks to the Head Chef, Sous-chef, and Chef Aui, who worked very hard for the entire duration of our long stay. The food and beverage service team also did a fantastic job in remembering our preferences and communicating accurately and effectively with the culinary team. Special shoutout to Khun Jane, Khun Gina, Khun Smile, Khun Tum, Khun May, Khun Bua, Khun Natalie, and Khun Bank (the occasional bartender and mixologist, who makes incredible iced chocolate with whipped cream), among many others. You all greeted us with true smiles on your faces and in your hearts. Our stay simply wouldn't have been as enjoyable, without you and your generosity. Pool/Beach attendant, Khun Ram, deserves a special mention here. He noticed that we were soaking in the ocean, and brought us water and set it down on a smooth rock accessible to us. He saw us lounging in the pool one day, with our drinks on the pool deck in the sun - he walked over and moved the drinks to a shady spot nearby. One weekend during our stay, we had a couple of friends who flew from Bangkok to visit us. Khun Ram tirelessly explained safety measures to all of us when we requested the use of the stand-up paddle boards. Not only did he go out with us on the boards when he realized that we were all beginners, he also went out on a separate board to rescue our dog when he noticed her struggling on our brother's board. The hotel's rooms are well-designed to maximize comfort and view. Air conditioning works well, and we didn't have to constantly worry about being eaten alive by mosquitos. Kudos to Adrian and the entire team for managing a new hotel so well, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and being extremely short-staffed. We hope to return in the near future, and recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Koh Samui.…
My first trip at Koh Samui with my husband. Comfortable rooms, I like the bathroom, soft pillows, comfortable sleep, good service staff. The environment in the hotel is good. touch nature suitable for relaxation. very good breakfast There are many to choose from. Preventive measures against covid are quite good. It’s nice trip. 😊
The hotel is very pretty. The staff are very helpful and professional. A few facilities haven't opened yet, but the hotel prepared activity schedule for guests to do during the stay. Breakfast was great as well, many yummy options to choose everyday.
My trip in Samui was great. Staying in Hyatt Regency Samui, newly opened for less than a year, I appreciated the serene of the property and its lively design. Staff were helpful and friendly. The suite room was spacious, cozy. Swimming pool was cute and photogenic. The highlight was at the lobby where you can take a photo of the sea view framed. In the evening, there was a light show at the lobby which was cool. BF was good with a few selections and great ingredients during my stay. I recommended egg benedict, pancakes, crispy waffle.
We go to the Hyatt regency Samui to enjoy an amazing afternoon tea with nice view by the pool. Really nice service by Gina , very friendly and profesional, she always smiling and taking very good care of us. Bank and Kookai very nice and friendly also. Whenever i go back Samui i Will stay in Hyatt for sure, well done guys 🙏🙏🙏
