Hyatt Regency is a nicely designed five star resort in koh Samui. Property is not very huge unlike typical Hyatt estates but the staff at the resort makes your stay really special. They were very courteous and very quick in providing any kind of assistance as required. We booked a Sea facing room which had a pretty good view. Breakfast spread was good. Resort infinity pool is also pretty cool. They also have kids club facility. Restaurants are decent but could have more variety in terms of food. The only let down was the beach. It's rocky and not suitable for swim. Otherwise absolutely amazing place to stay and surely we will visit again!

The staffs are very friendly and their services are superb. They always help guests answer their question about locals and attraction as well as helping you book certain activities. There are certain kids activities within the hotel such as face painting that adults can join as well, making the guests feel very welcome.

Room: I had the bad luck of being allocated the worst room in the hotel right next to the staff area which meant staff were constantly walking past the room and so I had no privacy. The privacy switch on the door was also broken. Other than this, the rooms are impressive with all amenities a person might need. Breakfast: good but expected better Thai food options. Sesun Bar & Grill: they promote a 2:1 happy hour but do not make it clear what drinks are included. Very confusing menu. Their signature cocktails are not included but classic cocktails (nog really advertised) are included Resort overall: lovely with plenty of outdoor spaces

I especially love the bathtub facing the sea. I really like that the bathroom is an open space. Although the beach is not large, it is important that it is quiet and not crowded. There is a floating boardwalk extending into the sea, and I suggest beautifying it as it would be a great spot for photography. The restaurant at the beach offers reasonably priced food that is delicious. Ordering through a mobile phone is very convenient. The breakfast is also delicately prepared to my liking and meets high standards.

Wow, just wow! I decided to treat myself to a night at the Hyatt Regency on my last night in Samui and I was blown away by how nice everything was. Every staff member I interacted with gave 10/10 service, they have clearly had 5 star service training and are a credit to the hotel. I stayed in an ocean view room which was simply gorgeous, the design and detail of the room was amazing - and that view - wow! The pool and beach areas were also fabulous. Cocktails were made properly and not the usual poor quality thai attempts at classic cocktails. The wine selection was decent and not ridiculously overpriced as it is at many Thai hotels. The meals from the thai menu were delicious. And the breakfast buffet was fantastic - they had so many options for how you wanted your eggs done, the pastries and fruit selection was unreal, I am only disappointed I couldn't fit more in. I was so sad I only stayed for one night and had to leave to get my flight :( Will definitely return next time I'm in Samui. …

Everything was excellent- friendly staff , they try everything to help us , clean ,best view the Hyatt club lounge was amazing snacks drinks are very yummy and available at anytime-only that the location bet was far nothing walking distance need car to go anywhere

I paid for ocean view but they gave me a partial ocean view room. When requested they’ve mentioned all other rooms are booked. I showed them the room view pictures from agoda that the room they gave me has the exact partial ocean view picture listed on Agoda. They said the room is ocean view. When I asked why then the view from the room is exactly same as agoda’s partial ocean view; they said ‘all other ocean view is book and we’re sorry for your experience’.
