An excellent room for the price in a lovely setting. Almost all the staff were cheery and on task. The exceptions stood out; the lady on the cocktail lounge took 25 minutes to deliver two cocktails. I am not a fan of ++ establishments as it irks to pay 10% for poor service. Good breakfasts tho' occasionally the tables were not fully set. The coffee was excellent but only available at breakfast unless you paid ++. The hotel described itself as 900 metres on one site from Chaweng Central. Google maps said 4.7kms. This meant guests were at the mercy of the taxi coalition. Each journey was 200 baht out & the same on return. The hotel could have run more than one bus a day to break this embargo. 8 days cost a minimum of 400 sometimes 800 which made it a more expensive trip especially for European travellers who had paid double the normal airfare.…
I am writing this review keeping in mind what I felt was missing info when I landed up at the resort… so let’s start with that: 1. Resort has a beach but it isn’t a much accessible beach. If you plan to spend a decent amount of your time with your family and kids at the beach, this property is t the place. It has a small beach but mostly inaccessible due to sea weed and rocks and a very short patch of sand area. 2. If you plan to stay close to the main chaweng party and shopping area, you are almost 2 km far from that. Not a deal breaker as you get a cab easily but every trip has to be that. 3. This is probably the first resort once you come from the airport… 3 kms from the airport but except for a 7/11 nothing is easily walkable. 4. Pool is small but cute. If a lot of familiarise staying in the property decide to get down in the pool, could be crowded But then why a 5 rather? Because of the property and the staff. Breakfast in the property is a decent spread with a small vegetarian option every day. Egg station and croissants and yogurt and fruits made up for a decent meals. Their green Thai curry is one of the best we had in Koh Samui. Ter - the guy serving everyone at the pool is phenomenal. Makes the yummiest daiquiri and margarita. Lovely smile every time he sees you and is always there to help. Rooms are decently sized and the designs are done well. Property seems to have dated and that might also be because of lack of maintenance during covid but the room cleanliness, service etc everything is spot on. Nice greenery all around the property and the sea view restaurant is really a beautiful place to spend some time. Overall if you want to chill and don’t have a rushed up agenda filled with beach and shopping plans, this is the right place for you at the price.…
The staff was amazing and always smiling! Beautiful beach and pool. Good food in the hotel restaurant. Beautiful garden! Easy to take a Tuktuk and go around the island. We will come back here for sure!
We stayed for a week in November, and could not have had a better time. From the extremely warm welcome on arrival, excellent sized rooms (we had a Deluxe Sea Facing room) and substantial breakfast daily - everything was ideal for a week away. Happy hour and drinks at the swim up bar were awesome, I'm just disappointed that we didn't catch the names of the team that looked after us at the bar/pool as they were as were always so lovely. The team at reception and hotel entry (Jas and Sek in particular) are also very helpful in getting bags to from our rooms, booking tours, arranging taxis etc and they were ever so friendly every time we walked through reception - we'll miss you all. Thank you all again.
This is our first stay at this resort. We’re loving everything about this place. To start with the staff are fabulous. Special mention to Pla, Michelle, who made our stay fun, comfortable and relaxing. We were late getting in but Pla was there to greet us and help settle in. We have our own pool, can easily access the community pool, sauna, and spa. The food is great and value for money. The live music provided by Ron and Kuk who provided an entertaining and wonderful atmosphere. We have access to kayaks, paddle boards etc: Room cleaning and service is very professional as are all the staff employed at this resort. There is a daily shuttle to Samui Central and a vibrant day and night life. While in Samui we found our way onto the beach in Samui to access a range of various restaurants on the beach. All very affordable overlooking a setting sun and enjoying a cool place to dine. All in all we give our stay here five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️…
Paradise on earth, beautiful place to stay and the most friendly and beautiful people. Having never been to Asia, I had no idea what to expect and it’s a long way from London, uk! We stated by spending a few days in Bangkok and then onto koh samui (very different). Pleased we have experienced the contrast. The staff at the hotel could not be more welcoming and helpful, everyone is treated as special. We are so grateful and it’s really important to travellers. The location feels very safe and when I say paradise, I mean exactly that. We have travelled to many different places and cultures, the Thai hospitality here is at its very best. The pool, the beach the food, the service - nothing is too much trouble. More hotels should be like this!! Amazing. Get a cab to Chaweng and also go to Fisherman’s village, Friday nights are good as there is a market (but loads to see and do on the seafront too - any day or night). Cheap paddle boards on the beach, via the hotel. Lots of rain in October, maybe better a bit later in the year… but its hot and it’s luck. Quiet paradise I will take… all day! Pool and sea just perfect. Any questions, ask the staff - they are the best a thank-you!…
We stayed in a beach front pool villa with our 2 young children for 14 days. It was our 3rd time on Koh Samui, and our 1st at Nora Beach. Previously we’d stayed at Nora Buri, the sister resort - where we also got married. The team at Nora are incredible. You will be met by a smile, and they will do what they can to assist you. The breakfast options are plentiful, ranging from your classics to delightful Thai favourites - I personally enjoyed the novelty of eating curry every morning! The restaurant serves lovely meals, and has plenty of child friendly options. If you want to venture elsewhere, there is a beautiful noodle restaurant across the road, you can walk down the beach to other resorts, or down the main road to a few local eateries. I’d recommend a day to visit Nora buri restaurant for a sunset cocktail and fresh seafood! As we travelled with young children, we wanted a larger villa with 2 living spaces - Nora was perfect for this. The resort has aged a little, but the gardens and accommodation are well cared for by the team. What we love so much is that Nora is a Thai owned business - it has beautiful classic architecture and is constantly being revamped and upgraded. The gardens, and beach are just spectacular. I encourage you to support this wonderful place, and in return you will find a place that you too can feel at home in.…
Very calm and quiet nature. Private beach. Enjoy all day and night long at beach and poolside. The area is big and covered with greenery and small fruit and flower trees. Pool looks awesome in the evening. The Infinity pool is great. Not that hot in October
Beautiful hotel nestled in lush greenery with stunning views of the beach. The pool is a few feet away from the sand! My villa was very spacious and plenty big enough for two. Ideal for those wanting a quiet time away, but it’s close to the action of Chaweng Beach Road with all the bars, restaurants etc. All the staff were very courteous and hardworking. I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s musical entertainment - The Akuztik Duo! Two charming and talented musicians named Eula and Joe who can be found performing at the restaurant. The perfect accompaniment when you’re sipping on that mojito and being massaged by the sea breeze. They played all the ‘crowd pleasers’ and I was genuinely moved by their cover of ‘Desperado’ by The Eagles. They even allowed me on stage to sing with them - a highlight of my stay! :)…
We had a great time and we really enjoyed our honeymoon in nora hotel!!!! We have got a house just on the beach and we did had our own pool private. Breakfast was so tasty!!! Drinks amazing. We recommend this hotel for sure. Thank you very much for all
