After three weeks of travelling in Thailand, we spend our final night on Ko Samui after deciding to leave Ko Phangan which was extremely quiet and not as nice at all as we had hoped. Baan Chaweng has a great location right in the centre of Chaweng beach which is touristy yes but a very beautiful beach. The hotel itself...

This resort is right on Chaweng beach it’s nestled nicely in between bustling hotspots and is nice and central to everything. There are places to go out at night in both directions but this part of the beach remains quiet after the restaurant has shut so you don’t have to worry about dealing with any feral drunkards cutting through the...

We stayed here for 6 nights and we had a villa pretty close to the beach. The room was good and clean and there was a large shower area. The room had a large bed which was quite firm. The location of the resort is excellent. Right on the beach and close to all the restaurants, supermarket, shops and markets....

We stayed in Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa during our honeymoon in 2010 which we spent in Thailand. I fell in love with that resort at once, it was very clean, very nice breakfast and a wonderful beach. However, we went back during our vacation in 2011, and we were surprised when they told us that they want us...

Nothing really special about this resort - clean rooms, average staff, nice pool area. Paying for poor quality wi fi was a definate downfall for us. We also didnt like chaweng beach at all so led after 4 days and went to Bo phut beach which was much nicer.

I stayed here in January - the weather was great, the resort is in a great location and there are heaps of restaurants and bars a short stroll away. Chaweng is a busy beach but you feel like you are in your own private oasis if you stay in one of the bungalows away from the beach. Onsite spa was...

Great location makes for a great holiday. You can walk to bars, restaurants and endless shops as they are right outside your hotel. Rooms are ground level with balconies looking onto tropical gardens. Modern bathrooms big enough for 2 people, not those pokey little ensuites where you have to turn sideways to shut the door. Make sure to ask for...

This is our 2nd trip to Samui as we fell in love with it the first time. During our 1st trip we stayed at a 3 stars hotel, this time we tried 4 stars as we did not plan to do anything except just relax and enjoy ourselves as it was our joint-birthday celebration. First of all, the hotel was...
