We were room 101, it was next to the childrens pool. More than enought space on Villa for family with 4 people. Good quality with ok price. Can walk to the Chawen centre. Bigger pool can buy food/drinks
This place is a wonderful resort away from the hustle and bustle of the Chaweng nightlife and party area. But if you want to see that, it is only a 5 minute cab ride away. The staff at The Briza staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you might need. It does not have a sandy beach but a sea wall. There are a set of stairs (like 5 steps down) to the ocean water. The only draw back for some might be the fact this place is on a pretty steep hill. Between the ocean front and the main entrance is a decent climb up and down and might be an issue for some people. They do offer a transfer up and down in a golf cart for those who may require it. Quite a few rooms have their own private pools which is amazing. The bar and restaurant have anything you might need which makes it easier to not have to go out, If you are looking for a relaxing place with great rooms and a friendly staff than this is the place. I want to say a special thanks to Ken, Natty and I'll just say everyone that works at this resort. The entire staff made me feel like I was part of their family. I will most definitely be back.…
Amazing experience and unforgettable world class hospitality. The staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful. The villa was spotless and huge . The garden very beautiful. The staff at the breakfast was very helpful. I will definitely come back again. Thank you Ken for hospitality.
Love this place. Been here four or five times. The staff are super friendly, and accommodating and go above and beyond I love this place and will definitely be staying here again. Highly would definitely recommend
We love The Briza! This is our 4th time staying here at The Briza over the years and we absolutely have loved our stay here this December 2022-January 2023. It is the perfect resort for couples and or families. The resort is beautiful and in such a great location on Chaweng Beach. The rooms are so spacious and well layed out. We really enjoyed the family suite by the main pool this time and found the layout perfect for our young family. The staff are incredible and very kind, thoughtful and fun! They were so helpful with our children and made our holiday that extra special. The food is also amazing and we enjoyed the daily buffet breaky and room service menu some evenings too. Overall we love this resort and 100% reccomend to anyone staying . We cant wait to come back :-)
I came here in August and loved it so much I returned in December. Disappointing to read some negative reviews due to the recent storm activity but as it is peak season the hotel need time to repair such damage that in my option, isn’t all that bad - it just adds to the character of the place! All the staff are exceptional and breakfast changes daily with traditional western food of course! Beautiful Christmas decorations and lights at the front desk and garden area really add that Xmas charm! Loved my villa and will be back again! Thanks to Viwat (general manager) and his team for looking after me. If I had any issues both Ken and Thaipin were always happy to assist.
Wish I could write something positive but can't think of 1. We are currently staying in an ocean front villa surrounded by what I call a building site they are using the front as a tipping ground *photos attached) lovely beach NOT there is no beach, we were told they had a bad storm last week hence the high tide but after being here for 7 days now this is just how the sea is, all I want to do is get out of here, its not down to covid at all the hotel needs a full revamp and as for breakfast or should I say lack of breakfast the toast is okay with a bit of jam.
A beach resort without a beach. A terribly upkept resort terrain. Pools were dangerous: sharp edges and loose tiles. Lowzy breakfast with zero variety. Daily cleaning bare minimum. Room sinks can't lose their water, so you have a dirty puddly with coffee/tea remnants. You could regulate low/med/high airco, but not temperature, it was too cold. They haven't invested in this resort for years, and going by what I saw and reviews I read, not just because of COVID. Don't go here.
Had a family trip to Koh Samui in December 2022. We tried almost all beaches on the island. The Eastern part was the best sea-wise. The Briza hotel was a pure delight. Though it was raining one of the days, the view from the hotel at the rainy sea was never-to-forget. The room was huge and bright. I liked it that I could open all the windows and get a tropical draft, didn't need to use the AC. The staff of the hotel is very friendly as all of the Thai are. The breakfast cook was very polite and smiley. There was also one manager Ken who helped us a lot with all of our needs. Our daughter particularly loved him. Attached a few photos of them together. The greenery of the Briza hotel, its staff, the accommodation made great impression on my family. Thank you, Briza!
Stayed in Koh Samui in different hotels. The Briza hotel turned out to be one of the most cozy, friendly, and green. The view from our Deluxe Balcony was fabulous and the room itself is spacious! However, the hotel itself wasn't the gem of our stay in Briza. The hotel manager Ken was friendliest person we had met in our journey. Our daughter is in love with him because of the way he treated her =) The breakfast isn't too diverse, but it offers all you need to start the day. There are not many facilities for kids in the hotel, but our daughter liked the swimming pool and the sea. BTW, the sea is children friendly, not deep at all. PS We'll surely come to Briza once again when we are back. PPS thank you Ken for your warm-heartedness, our daughter says hi to you!
