Lasagna is my favorite dinner of all time, I have eaten lasagna in many restaurants over the years and in my opinion you cant beat a home made one. Until I visited Marco Polo.
The flavor of the lasagna was incredible, the pasta was cooked...More
At ~2000thb/room I would have expected better maintenance. Toilet didn't work, doors would not shut etc. Minor grievances that would have been ignored if the price was lower. Good, proper Italian food. Gnocchi was delicious.
Stayed for 2 weeks in January with my family and some friends. We were split across 2 rooms, our family room was spacious and good value for money. Mosquito's were a problem. Seemed to be in our room every night. And small black flies were...More

We are looking for a calm hotel with a big bed since our 2 year old son sleeps with us and I also want to be sure that he doesn't fall over to the floor.
I am reading a lot of comments and some say about hard bed. How bad is that?
I like the idea that the matrass is laying on the "floor" then I am more sure, but I also saw comments that the base for the matrass was not stable enough.
Otherwise, I understand that it is a calm place with a beach quite close and perfect for a family with a kid.
thanks for answering soon,

We took one of the larger rooms with one large double bed and two single beds. We found the large double bed to adequate for us and our 4 year old son. I didn't find the bed particularly hard (despite having two herniated disks in my back) - rather, I found it quite comfortable.
