While driving in Pohang can be a challenge, the Benikea Hotel is in a good location with good parking. Hotel lobby was very clean and bright. Staff was very helpful/friendly and spoke English well. Very good AM breakfast. Restaurants nearby. Mac Donalds delivers to the hotel if you want a change of pace. Small juice bar in the lobby. Room...

This hotel is 20 minutes away from airport or train station by taxi. As it is not located in downtown, hardly to find amusement or entertainment neighborhood. Instead being away from noisy circumstance, it can provide you with resting silently. If you are traveling business trip, then I will recommend this accommodation otherwise you might be bored a little.

Continuation of my brief business trip to Pohang from Dec 20 to Dec 23rd. I stayed here for 1 night. Moved from another hotel. What was good? I liked the location. Closer to work location. I have been using this establishment back when it was the Ramada Encore. The price was cheap and included breakfast but this with a company...

Be noted I stay here in winter of 2014 and photos from then. Small, a bit outdated room I stayed in. But B/F was free of charge and staffs were kind I remember. In winter I would recommend you to avoid here coz room was quite cold inside. This place would be just for 1 night biz trip stay if...

I and my colleagues stayed in Pohang for 5 nights, Sunday thru Friday. Pohang is a working class city on the East Sea. Small by Korea standards, its the home of Posco Steel and a large ROK Marine Base. We knew the Benikea Hotel brand from a stay at Songtan, Pyeongteak, so chose the Pohang Benikea. The hotel is a...

The hotel offers fairly small, but clean and comfortable rooms. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here, but it's close to my client and within walking distance to some restaurants. All in all, it's just OK; nothing special.

I spent two nights at this hotel. The welcome and check-in was more than cold. The internet is slow and usually you have to switch networks every 15 minutes. In the middle of the night (23:30) someone decided to test the fire alarms. It stopped only after I called the reception. But little did I know, that 30 minutes later...

Travelled August 2014, Solo/Business travel. 7 nights. As most other reviews say, there isn't much going on in Pohang, it's very industrial & there's next to nothing to do in you're free time here. This hotel is probably about as good as you'll get here in Pohang. Good Points: - Mostly english speaking staff, who are friendly & helpful -...

Not a high-end resort, but a lot better than some other 'business motels' that I have stayed in. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff, who had good english-speaking staff available. (if not always answering the phone!) Excellent free internet connection available in room via LAN cable to laptop, with free wifi available in lobby/restaurant. Rooms could do with a...
