Friendly staff, nice room, correct hotel, but in the restaurant , i didn't feel very secure in these corona times. Too many people and buffet for breakfast. The hotel is on the big road, not in the city , so nothing around the hotel for food
This is our second visit to this hotel in 12 months. We like it as it is well situated for visiting the Morbihan or Finistere, there is plenty of parking, the staff are adorable- very warm and efficient- it has a garden and a pool. And the restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner.
I have been in many Ibis hotels, but this one was a pleasant surprise. 4 star modern rooms, tastefull decorated, good beds, shower, spacious room. Good food at dinner. Breakfast could have a wider selection; this was too much French style simple with confiture etc. only. Ham and Cheese would be welcome. Anyway good wifi and free parking. I will come back on a next trip.
Our room was very clean, comfortable and colourful. Although just off a busy N road the 'IBIS Styles' hotel is set back from the road and quiet. We arrived on a Friday evening for a 1 night before heading for the ferry port at Roscoff. An evening meal at the hotel was unavailable, so we visited the local 'Buffalo Grill' a 10 min walk away. We had never been to one of these restaurants before, but were very impressed with the quality of food and service. Everything was well presented and tasty. Give it a go. Hotel breakfast was very good, and the choices as found at other IBIS hotels we have visited in France. Lovely staff, a very pleasant overnight stay.
Great Hotel and Location approx 2-2.5 hrs from Roscoff. Stayed twice once on a Sunday night and again on a Friday night. Very quiet, super friendly staff, great rooms and great value. Only let down by the restaurant being closed in the evening Friday - Sunday.
Very quiet although conveniently near the by-pass - excellent facilities with a swimming pool and restaurant. The hotel was well placed for visiting Lorient as well as the coast and the surrounding countryide.
this is basically a good hotel but let down by mainly the food situation. The hotel is way out of town but does not open at weekends but when it does serves really good steaks. The set up is ideal for business meetings and conferences but no good for people who would like to eat in and possibly drink! The breakfasts are poor. The fruit is often old and bad and the fruit salad is very tired. BUT not the waitress! She is excellent and elegant! Try harder and I would give you 5 stars.
The hotel was not in Caudan despite the name. It was close to the main road but that said the sound insulation was excellent so this was not a problem. The room was comfortable and spacious. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was excellent, but we were very disappointed to find it closed the next evening despite the notice on reception saying it was open. The only other restaurant in walking distance was not a delight!
Hotel itself is okay, I like the design of this hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast was not as good as expected, no eggs served for the first time in a 4 star hotel. Fruit salad was tasteless. I felt that customers didn't have lots of choice, I usually enjoy breakfast but this time I didn't. Tried fitness centre upon my arrival and how surprised I was when I saw the centre, 3 dirty machines. Well it's normal to sweat but usually hotels leave cleaning products so that customers would clean before and after exercice. I asked receptionist who assured that he can do nothing and it's the hotel policy, his exact answer was I can do nothing but tomorrow morning the lady will clean, I argued to have a towel or so. Apparently useless conversation because this is their hotels' policy. This was the main reason I stayed at this hotel and not another one so I honestly was disappointed. Had dinner at the restaurant la cantine, tried French fish and chips. Wouldn't recommend it, my co workers had hamburgers and said that they were good, but the fries were in small quantities. I'd recommend the hotel except the fitness centre and I hope they will serve better breakfast. …
It was a last minute booking and the location was convenient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but the TV offered only French channels. Yes I know I'm in France but hotels are for travellers and many are from overseas. At the very least, foreign news channels should be available. Breakfast was poor, choice limited, plastic ham but at least the bread was fresh. In conclusion, it's fine for a one night stay while travelling but for not much more.
