This is the first time, so far, I have stayed in a B&B that was built 100 years ago! The room is spacious and, to my surprise, it comes with a sitting room where I can sit in the comfy couch and watch TV. The breakfast is delicious and sufficient that I almost can skip my lunch. The hosts, Lois...

What a lovely time we and friends had for 2 nights for 2016 New Year. It's not fancy, however, very clean and comfy. Our room was spacious with its own bath, and lovely linen. We had a relaxing time in the hot tub. Very short drive to Blue Mountain, Collingwood & Thornbury. Our hosts, Lois & Bill we're very accommodating...

We had a fantastic stay (2 nights). The house was lovely, clean & historic. The owners were beyond accommodating and very helpful. The location was easy to find and an easy drive into Collingwood. We will happily return.

A quality B&B experience in an old Victorian home. All the amenities one expects along with gracious hosts. I stayed in the suite which included a sitting area with a TV that provided plenty of room to relax. The home is quite old so be prepared for creaking floors, a narrow stairway, and a claw-foot tub with improvised shower. However,...

We stayed just one night, our room was lovely, spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated that Lois provided gluten free options for me. The house is beautiful. We would be happy to stay here again next time we are in the area.

We took my mum up for the weekend and wanted to give her the B&B experience. The house was built in the 1870s. It's been well maintained by Lois and Bill and the beds are comfy rooms are large. Ours had a small sitting room as well. The breakfast was outstanding and our hosts were so nice!

I loved my stay at The Gables during my cross-Canada bike ride. The salt water hot tub was excellent after a day of riding a bike in the wind and cold! Lois and Bill were so welcoming...it was like visiting old friends. The home and rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing! Lois makes luxurious bathrobes...there are 2 in each...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Gables and we loved it. Lois and Bill are wonderful hosts that made us feel like home. They were there to greet us when we checked in and the rooms were amazing. We had drinks with them that night and they are such wonderful people. She makes the best biscotti's I have ever...

Lois was most patient with our somewhat late arrival due to highway issues. Also, she couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The Fall Room was cosy and spotless. Breakfast, served in a lovely dining room, was enormous and tasty! Bill was great company during the repas. Location wise, this was a great pick for visiting the Wasaga Beach area.

My wife & I stayed for August long weekend at this wonderful B&B. Lois and Bill keep the Victorian charm strong, telling of the home's storied past. The place was quiet, the towels were set out for the salt-water hot tub when we got back after a long day out, and there was space for private time in the home...
