I can't say enough about the friendliness of all the staff. Always a joy to be around and willing to help you with anything they could. Made the trip 100% better! Food was delicious too and you can't beat the sea view! Hopetown is a lovely quaint seaside village with wonderful charm.

It doesn't bear repeating what others have said here about the Lodge. The entire experience was great, from check-in to check-out. We stayed in a rather large beachfront cottage. It had a small kitchenette and a good size refrigerator. I was afraid that the A/C unit was going to be too small for the large room but it was just... More

I have been visiting Hope Town for years and always wanted to stay at the Hopetown Harbour Lodge. Imagine my disappointment when I finally stayed here and had a claustrophobic cupboard of a room. It was clean but unbearably small, with barely any room for two people to walk around the bed! It was also expensive for what it was.... More

A stunning location with powdery sand, the occasional shark and a lovely hotel with genuinely friendly staff! I arrived on the ferry which takes about 20 minutes, to be picked up by in a golf cart by Lukey and driven to the door. This avoids some steps too. Everyone was just so friendly and helped me as much as they... More

This was the first place we went for lunch on this trip to Hopetown. We looked forward to Gary's (the bartender) famous pina colada and it did not disappoint. It is the best one on the islands. The location is perfect. The view of the Atlantic was gorgeous. We were able to enjoy it, excellent drinks and our conch burgers... More

The beach, the cottages and rooms, the food and especially the wonderful and over the top friendly staff is all 5 star. We felt like we were staying with family. The steak tips and fresh fish and key lime pie were fabulous. The piña coladas are the best we ever had. The cottage we had was right on the sea.... More

Small hotel, up on a ridge that overlooks the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. White sand beach that is never crowded, because there are no other hotels. Water with 30-50 ft. visibility; reef is 30 yards from shore. Good number of small fish. Occasional big ray or shark. Walk to everywhere in town. Plus a... More

I stayed at the HTHL last month while in the Bahamas shooting a wedding with a fellow photographer friend. I fell in love with the island! The property was lovely as well. Every lady that worked at the office/front desk was so sweet! Felt welcomed every time I walked through! Some of the bar, restaurant staff on the ocean front... More

This was our third vacation over the last 16 years and each time it has been even better. The Mango Cottage that we stayed in this time was just being built when we stayed at the lodge for our honeymoon in 2001. It was incredibly nice. We had AC available but with the trade-winds cooling the cottage naturally, it was... More

My Daughter and Son-in-law had their dream beach wedding here last week. Beautiful. The staff was very nice and very hard working in making sure everything went smoothly. The beach and pool area are well maintained and a relaxing place to kick back for hours at a time. I think they said they would be putting TVs in the rooms... More
