Resting Place was a lovely place to stay. The room was modern and complete with a smart tv. The room included fridge, safe, hair dryer, kettle, drying rack, firm mattress, very clean room with a stunning view.
The island generally does have various notable inserts; a lot of mosquitoes come out when the sun goes down. Where ever I went I saw ants (beach, restaurant and room). Not a massive air con person but found not cold enough. The room never had a good wi-fi signal.
The breakfast was fried rice, egg and pancake and tasted good. Yon the Hotelier was extremely accommodating and free use of two bicycles.

The family (owner of the hotel) offered everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Room is very clean, with new furnitures, bathroom is very big. Bed very comfortable for a perfect relax, the room is in front of the sea, in a quiet atmosphere. Breakfast is rich and tasty (thai food). Just a little far from the best beaches, but the hotel offers bike and motorbike rental for reasonable prices. I recommend this hotel.

It seems like a new small resort with great views of the sea between the Koh Yao islands. Just a short distance from the pier where speedboats dock from Bang Rong pier on Phuket. Staff very friendly and helpful,especially at reception and in restaurant. A new place with staff eager to help. Food very good,lots of choice and delicious. Breakfast simple but good too. Well designed place with well kept gardens,wifi good,air conditioning good,beds comfortable. Shower good,very clean bungalow throughout. A 30 minute walk to local village,motorbikes and bicycles available to hire.
Be aware that this island is mainly Muslim and alcohol is not readily available in the local village. Other places further away sell beer and spirits. I think it would be respectful to ask the owners first if drinking is ok in the rooms. I think drinking in public areas of resort would not be appreciated.

We loved Resting Place so much! Very clean modern rooms, beautiful panoramic view from the balcony. Upon arrival we were greeted with mango juice and fresh coconuts. Wonderful family run establishment. Their hospitality is unmatched. They were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The restaurant serves delicious seafood and Thai cuisine, along with American options like sandwiches and pasta. Try the fried snapper or the crab! It’s amazing. Overall the best food of our trip! - Complimentary shuttle pick up from the pier. - Scooters available for rent. - 2 km from pier to Krabi or Phuket. Convenient location. - Complimentary breakfast. - Hotel will help you with booking tours - we did mangrove kayaking and a day trip to Phi Phi. Both were arranged by the hotel and were really amazing.

Stayed here 2 nights. The rooms was very nice, comfortable beds, spacious, clean with beautiful sea view. Very peaceful place and good value for the price.
The family were very helpful and nice. Food at the Resturant was very good and American Breakfast was delicious too.
Highly recommended and will return if we visit here again.
