Booked 2 nights ended up staying five.I found everybody friendly and nothing was a problem. Its not in the centre of villavencio but the taxis are really cheap. The cleaners always did a good job i will be back here in september
I’m trying to suppress my predispositions and expectations in reviewing this hotel. It tries hard. But doesn’t understand the expectations of international travellers. Showers that flow hot and cold are simply not acceptable. Smiles from staff do not make up for the fact that not a single person on duty could speak English. Frustrating efforts to order from the menu simply resulted in something different being served. Asking for a half bottle of wine to be put in your room Bill should not result in someone knocking on your door and hour later, waking you in your bed, to sign a docket. It would not take much effort to prepare and print out a sheet of FAQs that could inform English speaking guests, and possibly allow them to point to a standard request. The Colombian people are wonderful hosts, they deserve better training and support. …
According to the pictures and price we expected something very different, the pool its 1m deep and very small. Every noise from the streets can be heard in your bedroom, and personnel does not seem to care about it. Finally the bathroom door was damaged and can't be closed (without getting trapped in). All in all its just not bad, it's just that for this price you can get something way too much better.
The hotel is pretty clean and nice, the room had personal AC and was clean, the bed was great, and the minibar had a good assortment of products. My only complain is that I feel that is a little expensive, I paid 190.000COP (around 200US in 2013 Aug), the room was well equiped and nice, but it felt like a lot of money for what I received Nevertheless it was a good experience
Located in a residential neighbourhood a bit far from tourist or business locations, it is a clean, nice and no-frills hotel, the sort you would be happy to use for a stopover but not to take your lo ed one or your familily fir a holiday. Don't expect anything special, though. Breakfast is barely palatable.
