Good location and looks good from the outside (old traditional building) but... the rooms are terrible and a little dirty (very old furniture carpet and linens). You can get much better for the same price. Only works for an emergency. Very poor almost terrible.

I made a reservation through Expedia for three adults. When I booked the hotel they said that the hotel rate was $84 per night for a room for three adults. When I checked in they told me that the room was for 2 people and that I had to pay and additional $90 per night for the third person. I...

The hotel is lovely. Full of character and we had a huge room. It's in a perfect location a short distance from the Plaza Mayor but very quiet. The room was comfortable but no frills. Shower was fine. Breakfast is very simple but served by a charming waitress. It isn't 5 star but has bucket loads of character.

Villa Leyva is a charming old colonial town and well worth a visit. We stayed only one night in Hotel la Plazuela. The location is great, situated in a quiet area of the old town, close to everything but far enough away that you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the main square. The rooms are very basic, simply furnished...

We stayed in room 14. The hotel is well located at a walking distance of the mains attractions. The public areas a nicely decorated. But it stop here. The carpet in our room was 20 years old. The mattress date from the Second World War with a hard wood plank under it and the shower did not work properly (in...

I stayed here one night during the weekend. The hotel is pretty basic, but comfortable and in a quiet area of the old town. There are two beautiful courtyards, one surrounded by the rooms. The rooms are very basic as is the bathroom but functional. They serve a decent breakfast and at night they light the fireplace in the sitting...

Very pretty colonial house. Please ask to be placed on the second floor as rooms on the first floor are not coherent to the style and completely not worth thr money you are paying for. Suites are huge and fairly nice. ..only 30mil pesos more than regular rooms which should be at least 100mil less if you compare what you...

The location is unbeatable. Quiet area in front of plaza, yet very close to nightlife and touristic activities, right in town. Te bathrooms not great, we had to pay extra to get upgraded to a room with a ventilated bathroom. The building is historic so some lack of modern amenities is to be expected, but the have invented interior ventilators...
