I picked this Hotel for the quiet location knowing how V de Leyva can get near the touristic areas and for the Chef. It is a beautiful Hotel with the typical colonial style filled with amazing art work, antiques and cozy areas. The website looked Ok and they really sell the Chef and his creations. That was a seller for...

I am surprised this place has such few reviews. The place is beautiful, clean from the entrance mat to the room's toilet, WONDERFUL food, the staff is extremely helpful (even give you delicious complementary juices when they see you come in tired from a walk). The colonial feeling is wonderful. The distance from downtown is perfect: not too far to...

I stayed on a hotel that the same owners will be opening soon that is called El Remanso. It had to be that way because we went in Semana Santa and the whole town was completely booked. Even though we were on a different location (like 5 minutes walking distance) we were received by the people on Candelaria and we...

Everything in this hotel was amazing. Beautiful rooms, tons of character and attention to details. Very peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was great - fresh fruit, baked bread, and eggs to order. The service was friendly and helpful. A very short walk to town. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay there again..

Outstanding hotel - a bit out of town - considering the town is tiny, its not much - just a 5 min walk along cute town roads. The whole place looks magical as if somebody transformed Switzerland into latin America. friendly staff - who dont speak much of English, but very willing and helpful Rooms are very beautifully decorated and...

If it weren't for the beds I'd give this place one more star. We asked for a room with 2 beds and got one lumpy bed and one pull out sofa bed which was horrible. A good bed is essential so this lack of adequate beds should warn other guests that if they want comfort look elsewhere. The breakfast was...

I went with my family at the end of December. The staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant, the rooms were beautiful and clean and breakfast was all you could ask for! The unlimited beverage service is a very good feature, use it! On the slightly negative side, restaurant service other than breakfast was extremely slow and the soups were...

A welcome mini bottle of wine, basket full of fruit, delicious breakfast, at night they offer a typical Colombian snak (hot sugar cane drink) cheese and Almojabana !!! Oh my God that was good!!!...

This hotel and town are beyond charming. We were there for a festival on Saturday night and the square was rocking. Young couples and families were out and about enjoying the fun. The hotel was so authentic and full of character that it was amazing. The only two negatives for us were that nobody spoke English and the menus were...
