Probably the best Hostel I've ever stayed at. If possible, the standard has improved since my last visit three years ago with Donald meeting me when I arrived at 9pm to give me a quick tour. Point out the free tea and coffee, with fresh milk, a new loaf of bread, and butter in the fridge (in case I was...

This is an absolutely fantastic hostel - it's basically a B&B, it's that good. Here's the positives: - The building has been completely ripped-out and started again, so all the decor and fittings are modern and clean. It looks wonderful. - It's safe and secure. There's a coded door so that people can't just wander in. - The bedrooms are...

The Nunton House Hostel is a very special place! From the soft tartan carpets to the very comfortable bunk beds, it ticked all the boxes. The kitchen is spacious and clean and we had everything we needed. The hostel has a very secure entry system which was a bonus. I will definitely recommend the hostel and will return.

Beautiful, comfortable and immaculately clean! Brilliant base for birdwatching. Very friendly welcome, host couldn't have been more helpful. Cleaner than many hotels I've stayed in. Facilities include large kitchen and dining/lounge area, washing machine, towels on request, recycling and a bike shed. Free wi-fi useful for planning daytrips. Would recommend to any groups visiting the island.

Stayed here for one night whilst cycling the Hebridean Way. It was a real treat! Donald the owner is lovely, full of local knowledge, and really taking care to make sure that everything is in order (topping up supplies of milk/bread etc). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plus a generous supply of cereal and communal tea/coffee/milk -...
