This small boutique hotel is right in the centre of Beccles, however the car parking was quite an issue for us, no car park really near to the hotel, and not knowing the area we seemed to go round & round the one way system looking for a long stay car park. Our room itself was cosy, warm and the...

The room was beautiful with little expense spared. Breakfast was really yummy and was probably worth the wait. Great location in the centre of Beccles but parking restrictions Monday to Saturday day time. Beccles is a lovely town with lots of quirky shops to nose around. Definitely would recommend for a short stay.

I stayed for one night whilst away on business and it was perfect. The rooms are so full of character and beautifully presented. The wine bar downstairs provides a relaxed place to sit in an evening and sample on of the delicious platters on the new menu. I was also lucky enough to be there on a Monday night which...

We held a 'supper and talk' evening at the Swan House to raise funds for a local charity. From inception, through organisation, menu planning and determining value for money to the evening itself, everything worked smoothly. Swan House excelled itself - the food was delicious, the ambience was friendly and atmospheric, and we were exceptionally looked after. It all worked...

We received a warm welcome and served with drinks in a friendly and professional manner. The welcoming log fire and warm atmosphere added to the welcome. Once we were shown our table the server presented the menu and additional information about the meals and choice of wines. The meal was presented very attractively; the food was of high standard and...

Had a 2 night stay at the Swan House Boutique Inn, on arrival we checked in at the bar where the lady who greeted us was friendly and helpful she asked if we would like to pay for our room in full which we did but then confirmed the card machine was not working and that we could withdraw cash...

We arrived in good time for lunch on a Sunday but were told peremptorily that (a) the kitchen was closed (at 1.55pm....) and (b) therefore there was not much point in having lunch first, whilst waiting to check in to our room at the advertised time of 3pm. Rather than spoil the afternoon with an argument, we went elsewhere to...

Stayed one night in Eln, what a delightful room so much care and attention has gone into every detail. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was served at very sedate pace, which was perfect. Overall this stay - a birthday present for my wife from our children - was just perfect.
