The hotel is located between the city of Parto and Florence, good only if you got a car. It's very close to a big nice city mall and because of that I advice you not to have breakfast at the hotel but to go to the city mall, given that the hotel breakfast is too pricey for what it is. When we entered the room it was very hot and we noticed that the air-conditioning wasn't working; we report the problem but they said there was an issue with that and they didn't even ask if we wanted to change room. For the rest it's a typical Ibis, nothing special nor bad. Pillows could be more comfortable though
The reception Staff were particularly good. The room was OK. We decided to eat in the `Restaurant`. The Waitress was not really interested. We waited and waited for just the menu to arrive. We ordered our food which came relatively quickly, the soup that was listed did not resemble any soup we have ever experienced. The ice cream which I could not eat was disgusting. The Waitress had disappeared we could not discus this issue at all. Having travelled nearly 600 kilometers that day in the heat, we could not wait because we were so tired. In the morning when we went to settle the bill, we found it had already been taken and the Receptionist did not want to understand and offered us two beers, small compensation.
This is a nice clean little hotel, about a 25 minute ride from the cathedral. There is a nice bar and outdoor sitting area where you can unwind in the evening while enjoying a glass of wine or cocktail from the bar in the lobby. The area is quiet making it a nice place to retire to after a day of walking and exploring to beautiful streets of Florence.
We stayed two nights here while exploring Florence and Tuscany and we had no problems. The rooms were European Style, contemporary and clean. The staff was nice and the breakfast was typical continental / European breakfast. Overall, the property is well maintained and we would stay again. The mall and restaurants across the way are a good option. Note: Many reviews list how this property is so far from the city - center of Florence. Well... it is in a suburb and not that far if you have transport. It's 2019... if you cannot Google or GPS a location on distance by now... it is your own fault IMO.
This is probably one of the worst Ibis hotels in the world. The place is dry far away from Florence with no public transportation. I had to take a taxi each time paying more than 50€. The staff of the hotel is it helpful at all. During my 3 day stay the hotel staff has not managed to repair the air conditioning. The overall experience was really bad. I do not recommend this place.
Typical ibis setting. As usual, personnel is awesome. Room is specially big. Legs bathroom: Why not put a bath? Bed is very good. Good working Surface. At breakfast, quality is there although not a lot of options.
This is a red Ibis hotel, and doesn't differ much from the many Ibis hotels I've stayed in. The location is the main advantage. It's close to the highway from where you can easily reach many locations in Tuscany by car. It also has a massive shopping mall right next to it with lots of places to eat at, shopping and also some events. The room was okay. Typical Ibis, clean, comfortable, small TV. If you need to see it, check out my video on it. Breakfast had a good spread. It had a station with gluten-free products, also rice and soy milk. I had a few problems with it. The bread and the meats were going fast, and often if you popped down in the 3rd hour of breakfast, there wasn't much left. The coffee was bad. Drinkable, but not something I would have had by choice. It's kind of sad to have bad coffee in Italy. Also, it was incredibly noisy most of the time. The hotel seems to have a lot of groups, or I'm not exactly sure, but if you listen to my video you can barely hear me speak. I often had breakfast outside, while trying to stay away from the smokers. The staff was very friendly and spoke many languages. I really liked the receptionists as people. Overall, it's an okay hotel. If you're picky about coffee, try resorting to tea. Or I recommend that the hotel change the beans. I know this is a budget hotel, but we're in Italy, and in none of the other Ibises was it this bad. Also, fill up those breakfast items faster. Do check out for the visuals my video of the hotel on my YouTube channel, Izzy's Travel Diaries.…
Low Price, good acomodations as expected according with Ibis standards.Good breakfast, with good variety and several optionsGood rooms, clean and satisfying, just like the Ibis standards.Nice location, close to Gigli mall.
We arrived late to the hotel after a long tiring journey on a Friday afternoon & evening having negotiated several lengthy traffic jams between Milan & Bologna and much lunacy on the part of drivers seemingly hell bent on destruction - which fortunately did not manifest itself. The welcome was warm, friendly & very helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped just right for our needs. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with helpful staff. An enjoyable stay in the midst of plenty of retail opportunities.
and a lot of traffic to get to the centre. There is nothing around in the neighbourhood. Two restaurants are more or less close but you have to cross four busy and dangerous roads. The service in the restaurant is appalling. The food average. The hotel is basic but acceptable, except for the location.
