We were visiting the Tuscany area to stay with family who lives there. My Italian native husband, myself, and our 2 kids (3 and 5). The kids were getting bored and I had done my research for Tuscan hotels with an indoor pool. On a whim, we booked Casagrande because it was reasonably priced and the pool was open. It took our breath away! The property itself is stunning with incredibly history (take the tour! We were blown away with the history, the artifacts, the story of this incredible property). Even the kids enjoyed it. The lobby was redone and modern and beautiful. All the employees were incredibly kind and helpful. The indoor pool was GREAT! A decent size, very warm, and the kids had a blast for a few hours. (It's not very shallow so if your kids don't swim - bring a float.) My in-laws joined us and they stayed in the main villa in a deluxe room and were very happy. We had the family deluxe apartment and it was HUGE. A bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, loft with another queen bed, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms. The kids loved their "Secret hideout" loft and we loved a little patio to have a glass of wine and relax when they went to sleep. Good heating, incredible water pressure (not easy to find in Italy, so I was pleasantly suprised), and very clean and comfortable. I don't know why they do not charge more than they do (comparing to the rates of surrounding hotels with indoor pools in the winter.) Town was walkable, but we didn't really explore. The restaurant was delicious and attractive and dinner was wonderful. The breakfast in the morning was equally good - eggs, bacon (!), sausage, croissants, fruit, yogurt - a very good breakfast by any standards. There's an additional part of the property that we did not see - apparently it has another restaurant and an outdoor pool - but we had no need to go in that direction, so can't speak to it. Overall - a wonderful trip. Can't wait to return next time we are in Italy for a couples spa visit!

We chose this hotel as it was close to the motorway as we were en route somewhere else. The building is beautiful with amazing history and the gardens are pretty. We had a cosy room which was warm and a tasty meal in the restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly and welcoming of our little dog.

Amazing place, loved everything <3 We had a four night stay early December (2021). We had booked a nice Deluxe Room from 2nd Floor of the building (room number 161). We loved the building architecture, it´s history and atmosphere. Spaces were clean and felt safe. Not so many people at this time of the year (and because of the Covid situation), so no crowds. Very good services and helpful staff - Thank You! Breakfast was great and gave good start for the day. We could also use inside swimming pool (+24-28 Celsius) and loved this after long road trips around Tuscany. Use of pool is free of charge as well as complimentary swimming caps. Lot of free parking spaces just front of the hotel. Recommended to taste one of the hotel wines! ....just booked a new flights to Italy, so high possibility to stay at this hotel again! Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed (and we have visited Italy many times as well as other countries around the World). Highly recommended!

Great hotel with a warm ambiance. Great staff too. Avoid attic rooms, no view and and few small windows. Complex but interesting building, a mix of historic and nowadays architecture. The small town is nice but not exciting, but a great startingpoint for a trip into the luscious hills around.

Very nice, rustic and calm place perfect for relaxation stay. Very Helpfull staff. Enjoyed the outdoor pool however think that sunbeds should be for free for the guests staying at the hotel. Loved the area but almost no possibility to take a taxi as no taxi services exists in Felinge except very expensive private drivers options.

Dear Svetlana, we thank you for your review and for your stay at our Villa. Unluckily prices from private drivers are not something we can manage or control. About the sunbeds we will submit this critic to the management. We hope anyway that your stay has not been ruined by these situation and to see you again soon at Hotel Villa Casagrande.
