Detailed Reviews
I stayed with a friend one night at Federico II hotel. I’m impressed by the excellent state of the property, fittings and furniture in the lobby, common areas and rooms.
Secondly, the 25 m swimming pool, kept in an impeccable state, better have own cap as is not allowed to bath without.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice of savoury and sweet food.
Definitely recommend to everyone wanting to visit both Ancona, Jesi and be immersed in the countryside, surrounded by the beautiful Marche hills. The hotel is just off the highway. In twenty minutes drive you’re in Ancona.

Stayed two nights as part of a visit to a factory in Apiro. As Apiro has no hotels we stayed here which is 30mts drive. The hotel is well manintained, clean and neat. The breakfast was reasonably fine. Rooms had free water, a safe, fridge, toiletries, TV with all Italian channels, free wifi.
There is a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor. For ironing there is a room on the 3rd floor.
The location is in Jesi and overall we all enjoyed our stay. Only issue I had is no housekeeping on the next day. However after reporting the housekeeping provided clean towels and 2 water bottle.

Upon checking in to this hotel the manager asked how our drive was down from Vinice. I told him we had some car trouble and with the traffic and construction it was a long and hard days drive. He reached across the counter and pulled back my room key and said let us see if we can make your stay better. He took us to the back of the property and gave us the keys to a private cottage (see Photo's) and said it was normally for monthly booking only, but take it with there compliments. WHAT A PLACE! Dinner was 5 star without the 5 star price, everything was clean. I will find a reason to include this hotel in my next trip to europe! Breakfast was large and excellent, many choices. Bravo!!!

Had to be in Jesi on business and spent two nights in this hotel.
Rooms were booked by our Italian office. My colleague is a smoker and was happy to discover he can still get a room .......
My first room did not have a big-enough table and the reception was friendly and upgraded me to a much bigger room.
Easy parking, good breakfast and a friendly staff makes the hotel a very good choice.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Federico as a stop over on our way home from Puglia. We thought we might be a bit tired and would need a place hotel where we can just relax for the day. Hotel Federico provided just that. The room and bathroom was spacious and very beautiful. There were extra pillow available so a pregnant woman like me can sleep comfortably (THANK YOU!). The pool was excellent. You have to pay to use the lawn chair but the price is not too high. My husband (who was born and raised near the sea) enjoyed a relaxing swim and a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi while I enjoyed sitting by the pool and reading my Kindle. That night we ate at the hotel restaurant after taking a short walk in the center of the city. The food at the hotel was very good. We even got a surprise when I ordered beef stroganoff and received table-side service.
The only downside was the breakfast, which was so horrible that I had to take one star off. Nothing from the breakfast was tasty. The worst had to be the eggs and bacon. The bacon looks like they just put them all in a pan and stuffed the pan in an oven. They were rubbery (more rubbery than British bacon) and extremely salty (which makes me think they cooked in their own fat). Tip for the hotel: the best way to cook bacon is to put them on a baking sheet and make sure they do not over lap. I prefer to use a broiler pan because the bacon fat can drip down to the bottom part leading to less-salty bacon. The eggs were super runny. You might has well have been drinking the eggs. The yogurt was horrible.
In short, breakfast is as horrible as the rest of the hotel is great.
The only thing I can't comment on is the spa, or gym. We didn't get to experience those areas of the hotel. Overall, we would definitely stay there again if we return to Jesi (and maybe eat someone else for breakfast).

Nice hotel with renovated rooms (some of those) that however needs more attention in the details like improved cleaning on public areas.
Nice restaurant with good staff willing to serve you the best possible way.

We traveled to Italy in late July and stayed 10 nights at this hotel while my daughter attended an International Fencing Camp in Jesi. Hotel Federico II was the host hotel for out-of-town participants.
We took advantage of the hotel shuttle to travel in from nearby Ancona, and found the hotel check-in process to be quick and easy. The staff at reception are all proficient in English and very helpful in terms of recommendations for local tours, shopping and eateries.
Our room was very modern and came equipped with a mini fridge, ample storage and a beautiful bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping service was excellent.
Our Fencing group ate our meals buffet-style in one of their many large salons. The food was always fresh, hot and well presented, with many options to choose from. We had the opportunity to dine in La Rotonda on a few occasions, where both the food and service were exceptional!
The hotel has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool which is well utilized during the hot summer months. There were also numerous loungers to relax at pool side, as well as a small out-building where you could purchase drinks or ice cream.
The hotel has an amazing indoor pool which was closed for annual maintenance during part of our stay. For fitness types there is a workout area with a good selection of equipment. It is located in a mezzanine area and provides great views, as it is walled with glass and overlooks the pool area.
The hotel was busy during our stay - given that it was host to the Fencing group - but the staff were always pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Noise was not an issue as the rooms were quiet and well insulated. Outdoor temperatures during our stay were at an all-time high in Europe, but the hotel was comfortably air conditioned.
The American Bar just off the main lobby has a grand piano, beautiful views of the Italian hillsides and is a great place to enjoy an espresso, or a late evening cocktail.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Federico II, and I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
My daughter and I are looking forward to returning next summer!
