This intimate boutiques style resort has full service for you with a very fine A'la Carte Restaurant Utsu. High standard glass-ceilinged igloos are located in a incredibly beautiful place on the fell slope. The place is perfect to relaxtion, to watch the spectacular view and the northern lights.

This was my first stay at igloo and this hotel. It had been recommended to me and it lived up the recommendation. We arrived by rental car, some signs were covered by the latest snow storm, but navigator took us there without a problem. Location is outside of the Levi ski resort and according to my understanding, you can't reach the place with public transportation.
Staff welcomed us warmly and explained the system, as igloos are separate from the main building. All new health regulations had been nicely integrated, e.g. hand sanitiser was in stylish spender, not just plastic bottle.
The hut is igloo shaped too at this place. The motorised bed was located in the middle of the room, giving the best views out. There was a welcome letter written by the owner, which was nice touch. Igloo has small kitchenette, if you want to cook yourself. Bathroom was small, but had all needed things like toilet and shower.
Breakfast was buffet style and served at main building. It consisted all normal hot components like eggs and cold ones like cheese and salads.
Northern lights are nature phenomen and we were lucky to see them. Even without them, overnight in an igloo was a magical experience.

Pre booked this with Ingham’s as our Lapland grandiose trip along with the ice hotel. A short transfer from Levi, the Igloos are fantastic very luxurious with all the amenities you could want with well stocked tea and coffee and plenty of toiletries in the shower to use along with bath robes and slippers. Well heated and reclining beds it was certainly a comfortable place to stay. Two small bottles of sparkling wine in the room was a nice touch.

Although it’s the views which are obviously the main selling point. We paid a bit extra to have one of the igloos at the front with unobstructed views which didn’t disappoint., as some igloos are near car park or have igloos in front of them which would greatly impact your views.

We were very fortunate to observe the Aurora Borealis as sky was very clear they were visible on two separate occasions, which after several failed attempts trying seeing them on other holidays was fantastic.

We had our meal in the restaurant which we had paid for with our booking which consisted of a three course meal. Service was excellent but the food itself was a little underwhelming and due to new COVID regulations ( not the hotels fault ) our meal felt a little rushed as they had to close by 6pm. Breakfast was much nicer excellent choice and quality with fantastic views of the area and the rising sun was almost magical.

In summary this is a fantastic location in which to stay with fabulous views from the igloos which offer comfortable surroundings to do so. Although saying that the price is certainly not cheap however your are paying for the experience and hopefully the memories.

Worthy of 6 stars! As an international traveller, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Levin Iglut due to the stellar combination of luxury and comfort.

Levin Iglut has the most amazing superb service from all staff whom make you feel a part of the Levin Iglut family. The flexibility of the staff being so happy to tailor every aspect of my stay was truly excellent. Every service personnel felt genuinely invested in ensuring I had the best experience possible. Levin Iglut felt like my home away from home.

Levin Iglut has a lovely high location for maximising opportunities to view the Northern Lights (as well as stunning landscape scenery during the day and great view of stars when clear skies). Plus, you have the ability to get instant alerts from a camera atop the the hotel’s restaurant when the Northern Lights are visibly detected… this great feature is unlike other apps that just forecast if a chance may occur by actually telling you when the Northern lights are definitely visible when looking from comfort of your plush comfortable bed inside of the most luxurious and spacious glass igloo.

Levin Iglut’s breakfast trays are generous portions of freshest foods and drinks. Then the days that the restaurant is open for breakfast buffet they have extensive range of options and make the best scrambled eggs I have ever had… velvet smooth that melts upon hitting your tongue.

Levin Iglut’s kota is a charming little hut with reindeer pelt covered chairs that guests can sit around an open fire to toast marshmallows. Stepping inside felt like stepping into a yesteryear fairytale.

The hotel has amazing water pressure, with every igloo having its own 200L hot water system that ensures you always have access to jumping into hot shower under massive rainfall shower head or use myriad of options with the handheld shower head.

I could go on and on with praise for the extensive positive qualities of Levin Iglut, but will simply conclude by saying that a stay at Levin Iglut is something every person should experience at least once in their lives.

We stayed in one of the new Suite Igloos last month. Wow it was absolutely amazing! The fixtures of the Suite were of high quality and combined with the features, space and lighting made for an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay in what is truly a magnificent hillside location. The views over the fells and of the sky were amazing. The hot tub on the outside deck was already prepared and we made great use of it, it even has adjustable lighting to add to the ambiance.
A sumptuous breakfast was included in the nearby Aurora Sky Restaurant.
A nearby taxi rank serves the igloos which can take you into town or the nearby ski slopes at South Point in just a few minutes.
We were made to feel extremely welcome during our stay and will return again next year.

Let me start by saying that our igloo was phenomenal and beyond our expectations. It was incredibly spacious, very well furnished, extremely comfortable and very well stocked with supplies and we had more than sufficient tea, coffee and bathroom product. It was truly an experience we will never forget.

The restaurant was really nice especially if you manage to get a table upstairs and I have to say the quality of the breakfast was superb and quite obviously made from very high quality ingredients.

So why only a four star rating? To fully appreciate the night sky you need darkness and the hotel state they turn off the lights once darkness arrives, which indeed they did by turning off all of the walkway lighting. However, for some reason they left the huge neon lighted sign which showed the name of the hotel (which incidentally would not of been visible from the road) shining bright until almost midnight, rather defeating the object of the exercise of turning off the walkway lighting. Also and although not anything to do with the hotel there was a large new property across the road which was also brightly lit, which it would be an idea for the Hotel owners to negotiate with the property owners to also have these lights dimmed. Sadly all this bright light put a bit of a dampener on our enjoyment of what should be a breathtaking experience.

That said we totally loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again if the lighting problem was resolved.

This is a really lovely hotel and was by far and away our favourite of the three we stayed at in Lapland (the others were Wilderness Inari and Arctic Treehouse). The igloo was exactly as we had hoped: incredible views of the sky, comfy bed (which you can adjust electronically to sit upright), decent shower, cosy chairs at one end... literally perfect. One of our two nights we saw the northern lights from bed which was amazing. Even when they weren’t visible, it was lovely lying in bed looking up at the stars which are so bright there. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. They arranged a fabulous northern lights tour with Arctic Frontier for us which we would highly recommend, and private snowshoeing, which was so fun that we borrowed the hotel snowshoes to go out by ourselves the next day. There’s this lovely communal log cabin with a fire burning where we had a drink before dinner one evening.

In terms of location, it was nice to be a bit out of town, partly as it’s darker at the top of the hill and partly as the town isn’t very exciting and is only a ten minute drive when you want it (which you probably will as the food at the hotel is nice but quite pricey, particularly the main restaurant, which we liked but weren’t blown away by). Overall it was brilliant and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room is what you are paying for and it was worth it. I did lots of research and for the price found this to offer the best in terms of privacy and facility. The room was really nice, views beautiful (number 18) and we were lucky to see the Aurora.
It is close to the ski resort also. 2 small bottles of bubbly in the room was a very nice touch. The room is well equipt although small.
The heating system is a little annoying as it makes noise but this cannot be helped.
Breakfast was a little disappointing, not so much variety and space is small for seating and so the area gets a bit too busy and loud.

The meal we had at the onsite restaurant was very disappointing, over priced and not good. The worst meal we had in our 2 weeks in Finland. the restaurant is trying too hard with fancy menu, the ingredients you have in Finland are great do not mess with them. The meal is too expensive for what you get and the lighting in the restaurant is too bright and not welcoming. Drinks are over prices too.

Stayed here Dec 3-5. It was snowing and our igloo #2 has had a thick layer of snow/ice since our first night. We asked reception about this as we noticed all our surrounding igloos had no snow or ice caked on with a clear view. Well apparently #2 has an auto glass heating system versus manual so you have to wait until it decides to kick on instead of manually being able to defrost your windows. I guess we were the only ones with this problem as we walked around and everyone else’s igloos were clear. Reception said they tried resetting the system while we were at dinner but came back to the same problem. At this point I’m not sure why we paid for extra for a prime superior igloo as it seems like the superior igloos don’t have this problem. I’m also not sure why they wouldn’t switch all systems to manual if they know they have this problem. The price we paid was not worth the cost as our view was obstructed the whole time. I attached pictures of the first night and tonight’s and also attached pictures of the other igloos with no ice cover. Would not come back here and could not recommend as the whole premise of glass igloos is to be able to look out which we were not able to do. If you do decide to stay here don’t bother paying extra for a prime and either go all out with the suite or go with the basic superior.

We visited here for one night in January. The hotel is nice and igloos we’re nice. But comparing to two glass resorts northern light ranch and Snowman’s glass resort, it’s only 4 star. Northern light ranch is better money for value with free activities and snowman’s resort has free spa and sauna.

This place, as far distant and remote as it is, is simply put magnificent. I have personally never, ever, experienced anything as astonishing as this. Absolutely mind blown!
The igloos are so romantically robust, it is not hard to explain how much better it is to actually be accommodated in one of them instead of watching them
In pictures. They are warm, welcoming, equipped with all the necessities 2020 brings along.
The food....HOLY S***. I have never, ever, experienced anything as fulfilling and amazing as the one I just had. Each and every dish travels your palette to remote arctic areas and filled with greed you ask for more and more.
Service: high end, professional but cosy, well trained and well informed about everything we were served. Attention to detail added by wine master Viivi absolutely takes your breath away.

Staff 10/10
Service 10/10
Food 11/10
Room 10/10

Hey ncw again, and with all due respect HOLY S***

Greetings from sunny and very snowy Levi! We have families with young kids staying with us often. The ski slopes are approximately 9km from us where you can rent the equipment and get the ski passes. Im afraid we dont arrange activities ourself, but you can book them via us. We have kick sledges and sledges to use in our resort. Hope to see you at the igloos! Kind regards, Resort Manager
