We booked a 'superior' apartment (sleeps 4) via Booking.com for 3 people - 2 room apartment with a bedroom and sitting room with a sofa bed. The purpose was skiing. There was no availability with the hotel directly. However, I was in touch with the hotel directly to ask many details about the apartment. Unfortunately, when we arrived we discovered out apartment had no WiFi in the apartment and as it was located 350m from the main building, it was difficult to use the internet. We also discovered that the bedroom had NO window - making it very stuffy without any natural light. This made it very uncomfortable. The beds are very narrow and not especially comfortable. The rest of the apartment was ok, and the kitchen is good. When we complained about the lack of window and lack of internet,the hotel was not very helpful and told us to go back to Booking.com since we booked with them. They also charged us an extra amount for the 3rd person (I booked for 2) even though it was simply not possible to book for 3. The hotel is not very conveniently located for the cross country ski tracks - a long walk away (compared to a more comfortable and cozy Akashotelli where we stayed last year, which is practically on ski tracks). The breakfast was ok, but the hotel is FULL of large groups, so there were large groups, was very busy and hectic as well as noisy and often run out of bread and other basics. Long ques for some items eg pancakes. There is no pool and were were told by the hotel that there is a discount for the spa - but this is (a) far away and (b) gives no discount for Sirkantahti guests. The gym in the same building as the spa gives a tiny discount for Sikantahti guests. Overall - disappointing and very expensive ( as well as poor value for money).…

Second year coming to this hotel. We really like the location- 5 minutes away from main town / Zero point. Levi is a lively cool place with great skiing and traditional trips like snow mobiles/ husky rides / Snow hotel. New Years Eve is great here - firework display on the frozen lake - fantastic atmosphere!

Comfortable, clean room - great to have a heated drying cupboard and sauna in the room, especially to dry ski gear at the end of each day. Half board was very good value; lots of choice and plenty of space in the restaurant. Not always a veggie main dish but plenty of other options, salad bar etc every night. Good breakfast with cereal options, meat, cheese, breads as well as bacon, eggs, sausages - and a waffle maker which was a lovely touch. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great location for the ski bus to South Point, or a 5 minute walk to Zero Point (10 minutes with skis and boots!!) We even got lucky and saw the Northern Lights from the hotel car park.

This is our 2nd time staying at Sirkantahti, we last stayed in Jan 2020. We were in the hotel and it’s in a perfect location. Close to Zero Point to catch the bus up to South Point, which is about a 10/15 mins bus journey, and close to bars and shops. The food is wonderful. Tasty and varied salads every night, a different soup, main course and dessert every day, and a great breakfast. There’s a variety of beautiful fresh bread morning and evening too. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna in the room is a godsend after spending all day on the slopes. If you read the (clear) instructions and use it properly then there should be no reason for fire alarms to go off; we never had any issues and used it every day. The rooms also have a drying cupboard which is brilliant for getting your board/ski gear dry. For two of us with two suitcases and two snowboard bags, the room was a good size - we just stored the board bags under the bed. We love Levi and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Kiitos to all of the staff, we had a fabulous holiday and we will hopefully be back again!…

Fabulous holiday hotel, the staff were very good and mingled well with all the visitors and the food was amazing. Location was 10 minutes walk for Levi Town where there were many shops, pubs and restaurants plus the ski slopes where you could catch a cable car ride to the top to experience the amazing views and they were stunning.

well we are just back from this once-in-a-lifetime trip to Lapland and it was truly beautiful the hotel was fine regarding the accommodation which was good, but if its food you want to be included in your stay id stay elsewhere, its absolutely awful, the chefs haven't a clue what they're doing, it's like they only discovered salt and decided they would lace every dish with it. I asked the chef a question and she was not nice; the other staff was so nice.

Lovely clean hotel with such polite staff right in the middle of town . Reps were so energetic and nothing was too much trouble . Sauna was great . Rooms were a little small for 3people but it's only somewhere to sleep really

Booked through TUI who were pretty much useless, reps at hotel weren’t interested. Taster trip was good and the elf (Cracker) was brilliant which was a good job because the rep didn’t engage at all. If your room is near the main building you’re ok but ours was almost half a mile away, when carrying luggage and the large sack with the snow wear in it proved difficult and no assistance was offered even though we had 2 small children in the party. TUI excursions were expensive. Hotel food was ok and the location is close to the centre, rooms are basic but we didn’t spend much time in it. Gala night was chaotic, massive queues and went on too late when we had an early start for the journey home so we left early.

We are here now & have had a great time. The hotel is right by the town so 5mins & you’re there. We have a main building room, beds are very comfortable, room is cosy & warm, plenty towels, kettle, cups & glasses, coffee, no tea bags but we got some at breakfast & no teaspoons in room but we brought one from restaurant, no big deal. Didn’t use the sauna in room but great touch. The food has been excellent. Ok so not massive choice - seems to be same meat or fish each night just cooked a different way but equally delicious & I love the salad bar & cheese & biscuits too! Breakfast great too. Eggs, bacon, sausage (mini frankfurters), beans, gorgeous fresh bread, proper toasters so no waiting on those slow rotating toasters. Reception cosy & if paying for dinner (if not half board) it’s €29 for the buffet & I found this very good value. Prepare for €12 for a glass of wine tho! I was dubious about this hotel after reading reviews but I would 100% come back here for the location & food & staff are lovely. Well done Sirkantahti 👍🏻…

Great hotel, wonderful place....AVOID BOOKING THROUGH TUI!! You will pay for absolute LUXURY but receive a VERY BASIC holiday. I would stay at this hotel again, but book through their website!! The hotel is situated right across from the wonderful town of Levi, great restaurants, fantastic skiing/sledging.
