Great place to stay also with campercar. We really enjoyed the well-maintained and renovated service facilities. Staff was also really nice and helpful. Location is perfect near to all Levi's services. Our kids also loved "reception dog" Pahka!

We have just spent a week here. Really central. Supermarket across the road. Ski lifts 10 min walk. Plenty of communal sledges around Levi to carry skis on if needed. Five min walk to get to lake to see Northern lights. Comfy beds , Was very clean. I cleaned on departing so could tell it’s well maintained. Washing machine and dishwasher. Drying cabinet. WiFi and wood for log burner included. Ski accommodation can be grotty but I think these are excellent value. Booked online via them direct. There cancellation policy much better than booking.com and they matched the price. and managed to get direct flights to Kittila which was v lucky. Would definitely recommend!

freezing , dangerously dirty beyond belief ( looked blood and phlegm splatters reeking of BO and worse . Linens were dirty as were mattresses and walls , had thick smelly old grease on cooker hood , dishwasher unemptied from previous , broken chipped chairs. Two upstairs cramped bedrooms without direct window egress. Double glazing failing , ice cold breezes blowing through glass , dead insects Plate from fire alarm laying on a shelf . Hygiene levels appalling in this unit . View is the unit behind and in front . Cracked , browned out fixtures and mattresses crude and stained . Towels thin and cheap and browned electrical outlets awkward and in strange locations ... 2 over the sink for example . Book elsewhere please for your health. The apartment we were given was the exact opposite of the description and truly requires health and safety to investigate . Freezer / fridge dirty , holes in cutlery drawers ... sauna wouldn't warm up used the oven to heat the room for the 4 hours before we ran from there disgusted , frozen and appalled .

Because we had a failure with our camper, we booked for 3 nights, the company we borrowed the camper had to order the needed part and drive from Rovaniemi to Levi and had to repair our camper. At the reception we told the lady, we had to stay for 2 or 3 nights, because we did'nt know how quick the whole repair would be done. Because you have to pay before staying, we booked for 3 nights and also paid for 3 nights. Of course it's in between 2 saisons, but it was very, very quiet at the camper place. It is'nt a nice place to be, but we did'nt had any choice. After repairing we wanted to go on and so we told at the reception. A very unfriendly person was at the desk, we could get back the money for the third night, no way ! My goodness, such an unpleasant person at the reception, it'ts unbelieveble. We never come back at this campside. WE travel a lot with the camper, but never had such an unpleasant meeting .

The Levilehto apartment is located next to Levi ski resort. We stayed here at the end of January. The place was amazing. The area is fully blanketed with a thick layer of snow. so it was a little difficult to locate from the road. The rooms are nice. good heating and other facilities. Best location to stay on a budget.

We have just had a week at the Levilehto apartments. We had 2 accommodations (a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom cottage). For the central Levi location and the well furnished/equipped accommodation we couldn’t rate it high enough. The reception were also very responsive on email (before and during our trip) and helped us with a few different things whilst on holiday. Friendly and helpful Both families in our party agreed that we were very pleased to have chosen this accommodation as our base.

Quick response and extreme flexibility. Extremely flexible and perfectly located. Also on Sunday and outside of office hours response to e-email comes very fast. Location is perfect - ski centre and groceries are very easy to reach.

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment in early February for one week. The apartments Located slightly out of town, 5-10 mins walk from the nearest supermarket and a good 10 mins from the front slopes. The walk to the slopes is longer than advertised and can get tiresome when hauling skis and snowboards each day but lockers can be hired from the rental shop in Zero Point for about €70 for the week. Inside, the apartments are clean, warm and comfortable and kitchen well equipped for a week’s self catering with fridge freezer, electric hob/oven, microwave and toaster. Each unit comes with a TV, DVD player, free WiFi and much needed drying cabinet. Bathroom has a private sauna, shower and washing machine should you need it. As with most self catering accommodation, don’t expect soap, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc unless they’ve been left by the last guest. The layout is a little odd. The main bedroom has two single beds positioned below a third bunk bed - there’s a fair chance of whacking your head in the night if you forget! The unit we stayed in had a log burner, although strangely it was located in the second bedroom rather than the living area so it didn’t get used. There isn’t a huge amount of storage space for clothes etc but the porch and bedrooms have dozens of hooks between them. These apartments may not be as pretty as the Levi Log Cabins but they’re quiet and make a good choice for couples and small families who don’t mind the walk. The resort The village is slightly bigger than others we’ve visited in Finland, with several bars and restaurants to choose from. Classic Pizza and Ristorante Renna are both popular. The supermarkets are really well stocked and you can find almost anything you want. Like other Scandinavian resorts, Levi is pretty snow sure and the village was under a fair amount when we visited. The paths are kept gritted but would recommend studs/springs for your shoes when walking about. The ski area Levi has the largest ski area of any Finnish resort, with a fair number of blues and reds to choose from (although only two black runs in the whole resort). The front slopes are all steep reds and not great for beginners - in fact the pistes are not that well connected if the main gondola isn’t working, unless you’re confident with reds. If you’d prefer to avoid them, there is a ski bus which runs between the village and South Point where most of the blues can be found. We didn’t use the ski bus but tickets can be purchased from Zero Point or online for €3 or €4 per day (or €4 per trip bought on the bus). We found three parks in the resort - one on the front slopes with a large half pipe and huge kickers and two on the south side with smaller kickers, boxes and rails. Getting around on a snowboard can be annoying in places due to flat areas on some of the blues. The top of the fell is connected to the front slopes by a long green which is particularly flat and cannot be cut short by taking other runs so prepare to do some skating. That said, the runs are wide and quiet, with several offering off-piste areas over unspoiled snow or through trees and with the right conditions, the fell looks stunning. We preferred Levi to Yllas and will probably visit again.

Last month I stayed with my 7 year old daughter in the smallest cabin available at Leviletho appartments. Our arrival at Levi would be very late due to a late flight from Helsinki and with a delay it was even more later. The reception is open untill 8pm but a late arrival is no problem. As told by the reception on the day of arrival just before 8pm I would receive a message with details and the code of the keybox for the cabin. And indeed a few minutes before 8pm I received all the promised details. On arrival we indeed just put in the code and got the keys from the safebox and on the map above the safe we could see where our cabin number is located. So checking in is very smoothly even if the reception is closed. On our departure day we also left before reception opening hours but that again is easy. There is a box you just drop your keys in. As it was just the 2 of us I booked the smallest cabin available and it was a small cabin but it was a wonderfull nice little cabin. Actually exactely enough for 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Our cabin was clean and warm and had a cupboard for drying clothes, which was very handy and it had a sauna and a fireplace. In the kitchen every utensils you need in a kitchen are available and a diswasher. There are cabins and campers on the site and when we were there it seemed they were fully booked, but you actually just see sometimes people walk and dont have the feeling its fully booked. Its nice peacefull and quiet there and because its between the trees you get a feeling you are somewhere outside in the woods but you actually cross the road and you are in Levi center. Amazing. The location of the cabins is perfect, across the road is a supermarket, cafe and pharmacy, snowmobile safari office and nextdoor also a snowmobile safari office. The Levi Tourist office is 5 min walk and Zero Point too. Me and my daughter really liked this accomodation and when we return to Levi would definately book Leviletho appartments again!

I stayed in one of their wonderful apartments in the summer time. It's not cheap, but affordable, and you have all the conveniencies except maybe some better aeration (only 2 small windows with mosquito net can be opened). Fully equipped kitchen, 2 beds, a couch, tables and chairs, a small bathroom including sauna, TV, wifi, hairdryer and even a washing machine, and enough space to store your luggage. Very friendly staff at the reception which opens only at 12.00.
