Located on a relatively quiet street just outside the central part of town. The building is off the street up a steep driveway with the front gates closed each evening at 9pm (don't worry, Ruteng isn't much of a party town anyway). As plenty of other reviewers have stated, the rooms are very clean and basic. Ours was quite tiny,...

it is a quiet place, it is a good hotel for a 1 night at Ruteng, the room is simple but confortable, a small batroom with hot shower, a simple breakfast the morning, it is enough for 1 night, on the way to Bajawa, a free closed parking for the car, no restaurant in the hotel, don't choose the restaurant...

I did not have a choice on my Flores Overland tour. So I had to stay at this simple hotel. Since this is a catholic mission, I had to follow strict rules there. The rooms are completely basic, everything was falling apart in the bathroom. Although the gate to this hotel was closing at 9pm, it was loud around the...

It's quite surprising to have the opportunity to stay in a convent, in Indonesia. The room is basic, but very clean. It's a convent not a hotel, thus all the nuns has their daily routine of prayers, not much interaction with the nuns. The weather is cold, thus no air cond even fan is needed. There might be mosquito but...

We stayed for one night in this monastery, and did not enjoy it very much. There are not many choices is Ruteng, and yes, this hotel is very clean and has an excellent shower. The rooms are okay, the bed sleeps well. There is however no interaction with monastery life, you will only see a sister at check in and...

Good price quality ratio, clean rooms, warm water, and the nuns are very kind. One of the best places to stay in Ruteng. Breakfast is simple but good. Nasi goreng, toast with jam, and thee of coffee. Just what you need for 1 or 2 nights. Can recommend this place.

We had a large family room. 100% clean, which is a luxury around, believe me. also bathroom was up to all perks a westerner hopes to find. Friendly reception. Basic but ample breakfast. Don't expect any luxury or extravagancies apart from the luxury of a clean and comfortable room, which was totally what we were looking for, including nice choir...

After peering into one of the other hotels in Ruteng, this definitely seems the place to stay in Ruteng. Kind of a unique experience staying at a nuns convent, but the place is spotless, rooms super clean and great hot water, pretty necessary with the chilly nights here. Breakfast simple but adequate. I have to deduct a star here because...

MS Susteran is located in a catholic mission in Ruteng. The rooms are very clean. Unluckily we had the room very close to the living room, where the nuns, drivers and tourguides would watch tv until midnight. Luckily i have earplugs. We arrived late and didnt know if their kitchen was still open. Thats why we stopped at a warung...

The room is really clean and tidy, the hot shower works really well, the price for one person in one double room is Rp. 200.000. Breakfast is a usual breakfast with bread, eggs, banana, jam, coffee and tea. It is really worth the price, even though the sister is not really talkative type to talk about the surrounding place.
