Three amazing days in baracoa where we could feel at home at Casa Elvira. Our room on the rooftop was big and perfectly clean with a lovely terrace. Elvira and her family are extremely nice...they waited for us until 3 am and they gave us precious suggestions for food and daily trip. Baracoa really deserves a visit and Casa elvira...

Casa Elvira is a good place to stay in Baracoa. The house is clean and the food is amazing! The casa has multiple terraces where you can relax after soms busy days. There's hot and cold water all the time and the airconditioning is working very well!

I stayed 3 nights at Casa Elvira in the lap of luxury. There are 2 rooms on the 2nd floor that open to gorgeous outdoor terraces, filled with plants, ocean breeze, views of the rooftops, perfectly situated on a quiet street, between the main square, and the malecon/sea, just 1 block in either direction. I recommend it without reservation. Not...

Welcoming and friendly, Casa Elvira was a perfect Casa Particular (think bed and breakfast)!for our stay in Baracoa. Rooms are simple and comfortable. The shower was a bit challenging for water pressure but that is not an isolated problem - just adjust and everything can be perfect. Elvira's husband, Rolando and her son could not have been kinder helping out...

We stayed here in September 2013 but weren't able to review it until now. The couple and their family went out of their way to be accommodating. The food was great and they couldn't have been more attentive, even at the ridiculously early time that we had to leave on our last day to catch our flight back to Havana....

We looked at a number of casa's when we arrived in Baracoa and they just felt a little……like they were chancing it so when we found Casa Elvira we were really pleased. We had our touring bikes which were rather dirty but they were happy for us to bring them into the house. The dinner was a nice change of...

I found this casa through a recommendation of another casa owner, and it was fantastic (not to mention full every night). The house is absolutely beautiful with multiple terraces, a well designed interior, and bright, inviting rooms. The beds are not the most comfortable, but are average for Cuba. The location simply cannot be beat as it is right in...

As the title implies, it really was. We were very lucky to come cross this casa and this family. Big rooms with a/c and fridge, nice terrace, good homemade food and most important (for me) very welcoming and warm people. Really gave us a feeling we are part of the family and took care of us in every aspect. I...
