My wife and I stayed here for a week and absolutely fell in love with the place. Amazing food, beautiful beach front, lovely pool. This would be a great place to consider staying in for your vacation in Margarita.
I visited Laguna Mar February 6th - 10th 2016 and was most disappointed as this was supposed to be the #1 hotel on the Island. The rooms were smelling musty and the sheets had stains on them. We were situated in the North wing and...More

The problem we had with the room was the mouldy smell. I had difficulty breathing. I was told it's because of the lagoon nearby. The room was cleaned daily but the smell is constant. The ac was not able to keep the room cool enough. Our room number was 126 or 128 something near that on the second floor. I understand the mouldy smell is not in every room and some rooms are very cold. We stayed in north tower also.we never used Aeropostal we went on Laser and that is the absolute worst chartered flight ever. Nobody should ever use them. Delays could go up to 6 hours. The spa is ok. Our tour guide charged us $60 U.S. To go swim with the dolphins but when we got back to the hotel other Trinis said they paid $25 U.S. When they took a taxi and went on their own. Our tour guide charged us $10 U.S. Each to get to the mall and the other Trinis paid a taxi $5 U.S. To take a group of 10 to the mall and other places. The hotel is old but your kid will like the pools. The food definitely didn't cater for kids. That was the worse part of the whole trip for us. The food was lacking variety and flavor. I guess for the low price we should have expected what we got. It is definitely a cheap vacation. Shopping made up for everything else. Margarita is definitely a shopping vacation it's not a place for a cultural experience nor excellent service.
