We were lucky to have talked to the owner in advance for directions to the place; it is quite likely one would lose sense of direction and go around in circles while travelling through the winding lanes of Kumarakom. Once there at Kodianthara, it was like Paradise, the scenic beauty of the place is breathtaking - lush green all around...

It's quite some distance from the main road in Kumarakom, but once you are in, you will not feel like leaving this paradise of a heritage home. The property is spread across a sprawling area of land surrounded by lush green plantations, inhabited by birds. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Crispin, are an absolutely delightful couple to be with. We (me and my wife) had a wonderful stay at Kodianthara. The hospitality, the food, the service and the feel of the place is something worth to pen it down ... Usually my wife is a poor eater, and she very rarely eats much. I was surprised to see her loving the food at Kodianthara, she loved the food very...

The house and it's grounds are lovely, but they are very difficult to find and there are no directions on the website nor instructions to phone. Although I had exchanged several emails with Crispin he did not give us that information. Additionally there are no signs from the nearby streets. Eventually we found it, but seemed to be blamed by...
