Spent at the iroko gardens and held a meeting there. The food was great! With traditional cuisine, very good conference room arrangement. They have great new boarding rooms, newly done, but no water in the taps. The water offered in the morning came in filthy buckets. Not a good idea at all. Breakfast could be better. Pancakes were crusty.

Despite the slightly dodgy look exterior, this hotel is a pleasant surprise! A bit like a premier inn (minus a few bathroom tiles). A good breakfast of cereal, fruit and an attempt at a full English are included. Vegetarian options in the restaurant are quite limited.

It is very noisy with lots of groups. They have a fairly large menu but most items not available; you just have to ask what is and go...

The hotel was ok... Pluses: Fairly clean room. Though dusty in spots. The bed was large & comfortable with clean linen. Minuses: The shower wouldn't heat properly. TV wouldn't work. Staff seem eager to help but clueless as to how lol. The breakfast was alright. Choices of fresh fruit & cereals. The eggs were done really well but the sausages...

Stayed at Iroko Twigs Hotel in Kitale in February of 2014. It was my 3rd time over the past five years. The manager, Mackenzie, and head waiter, Jehoshaphat, are great guys. The hotel offers more quietude than the Mid-Africa. There are mosquitos in the rooms, but the beds have mosquito nets. Price is reasonable: $36 for a single and $43...

The waiters are unfriendly and are not proffessional . when i complained about the bedsheets i asked to see the manager but was/advised that he had gone home...
