Very large rooms are set in substantial grounds. The rooms are large, possibly a bit dated, with blasting air-conditioning and individual veranda. You are right on the beach here which has decent sand and good swimming. The bar restaurant area is large and pleasant: beer a touch on the expensive side, breakfast slow in arriving and nothing special. I'd be...

I must say that I did not know what to expect when my colleague suggested we booked Travellers Lodge in Bagamoyo for our group of eight people travelling to Bagamoyo for a business meeting, but everything turned out to be just right. Professional staff, kind service, beautiful little cottages by the beach with a small private terrace and hot water....

It is not your 5* resort so keep the expectation to bare minimum. But the location is great with ocean on your doorstep. They also have some play area and also a lawn for playing with the kids.. Apart from that there is nothing much, no swimming pool, no wifi, not even an intercom phone.. so when you check in...

We stayed here as part of our overland tour and we camped. The lodge is right on the beach, and offers beautiful views. The campsite was on grass, very clean. We were able to use one of the lodges for a warm shower. Toilets were clean and had toilet paper. Very nice campsite!

I am currently on day 5 of my stay here. I always find it very restful here. I enjoy sitting outside my cottage as the sun goes down. One blessing here you dont get other places is they offer free laundry services each day. The breakfast could be better which is included with the room. Some of the items are cold...

Well worth a visit if your in Dar and have some time. It is especially good if you're driving from the north of Tanzania to the busines capital Dar es Salam. It's especially good if you have to overnight to catch the flight the next day. Hotel is very clean and friendly and the food is pretty good here as...

I stayed here for a few nights whilst on a business trip. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Checkin was easy and staff helped carry our luggage to our accommodation. The cottages are really charming and comfortable. However, the air conditioning could do with being replaced and the bathroom was in need of some refurbishment. The restaurant serves a...

Large cottages with hot shower available.Spacious rooms with basic facilities. Recommend to use own towels as the ones provided looked dirty. Beach area may not be safe at night with tourists being harrassed by peddlers even in the day time persistently. Lobby area was great to sit down and have a cool beer with wifi available free.

Secluded hideaway with huge clean rooms & bathrooms. A good sized bed and hot shower. Good bar and lounge area to catch up with the rest of your tour group. Excellent grounds that lead right onto the beach. You can watch the fishermen start their day before sunrise.
