Bagamoyo Country Club might once have been a nice hotel but has seen better days by now. Rooms and especially bathrooms are a little run down and the whole compound seems somewhat faded. Rooms are very close to each other giving you not a lot of privacy. The restaurant area is ok but for some weird reason nearly none of...

The Country Club is an amazing place with very friendly staff, great food located at a nicely remote part on the beach of Bagamoyo. It is equally fascinating to view the wonderful dark night sky at night and the fisherman in the morning. The place is taken very good care of and it basically feels like staying inside a beautiful...

The accommodation is very basic but then again - all you need is a clean bed and hot shower whilst out and about exploring. Very friendly staff, lovely food. Will recommend for travellers however ensure you pay with cash as their card machine does not work very well.

Amazing beach, helpful staff that is not intrusive, comfortable and very clean basic rooms. Perfect for the travel minimalist.... I'll definitely be...

We stayed as a family in two rooms. At first the wood burning pizza oven looked great but they were out of most things on the menu. No generator, the management is too cheap. Wait staff overcharged us and expected us to pay because we were Mzungu, a racist term used for whites and an excuse to charge double or...

Staff: I got to meet the most delightful personalities that work at this establishment. Needless to say, they cater to your every need and are willing to go the extra mile. Internet: the WIFI did not work during my stay. I needed a local nano simcard, which if you know is not the most common sim used in many parts...
