Over the last three decades, the ‘Neemrana’ of the stunningly restored 15th century Fort-Palace, has come to mean many things. For architects it is a unique example of utter waste turned into a 14-tiered marvel with palace wings, courts and stepped gardens, felicitated with national and international awards. For guests, it means discovering over five centuries of history experienced with modern comforts. Only 100 kms from Delhi, just off the main highway NH8 to Jaipur, Neemrana Fort-Palace is a favourite site for celebrations, feasts, conferences, a quiet retreat for yoga and relaxation or India’s first site where you can indulge in five thrilling zip-line tracks that literally fly you in the sky. Built since 1464 CE, on a plateau of the two billion year old Aravalli ranges, this 14-tiered property sprawls across 10 green hectares / 25 acres. For guests, this offers 76 rooms/suites, 3 conference halls (Jazam, Qanat & Kasturi), hanging gardens, arched pavilions and balconies. The upper levels of the northern wing of the Fort-Palace can now be accessed from the car park by a 110 feet high lift which leads by the Saat Bagh to a second box lift. This architectural wonder can now also be enjoyed by the elderly and the less-abled who can be shown the upper parts carried on a palanquin chair by four able men ! Neemrana Fort-Palace has two spectacular pools that lean out to the sun. The upper pool is heated in the winter months to take the enjoyment of sunsets to another level. An intimate play area for young toddlers & the adjacent Neemrana eco-farm have been added recently so that you consume healthy organic food. The guests can enjoy the snacks at the Hawa Mahal restaurant and Raj Mahal Bar between 11 am to 10:30 PM. We serve only buffet for lunch and dinner is laid at various indoor and outdoor venues for guests delight. We do not have any provision for in-room dining. Ride a camel/camel cart or a vintage car. Walkout to the 18th-century stepwell which descends 7 floors into the earth. Feel a new Indian high. To have you here is to share our life’s vision of how ruins can revitalise a whole region. Neemrana not only strive to revive and restore the heritage structure but it also generates jobs and economic opportunities hiring and consuming locally. It is no wonder that Neemrana has been listed in the 100 things you must do on the planet Earth before its time for you to leave it ! But when this list was made, only one Neemrana existed – now there are 17 !

We went for a day trip We went in Dec (Sun) to do zipline (Flying Fox) and Lunch. The ticket counter for both are right next to each other. Flying fox was $1500/person for 2 zips which include 2 hours of fort site seeing. After that, we bought Lunch tickets from Neemrana Hotel they charged us Rs2000/person (Entry Rs. 584/- & Lunch 1416/-). When I asked them I am already paying for entry and for site seeing to flying fox, they said we are two different companies. Also, I had no option of paying just for lunch. Sitting right next to each other these two companies are double-dipping and ripping people off. BTW the charge for the same lunch on weekday is Rs. 1700/- includes (Entry Rs. 284/- & Lunch Rs. 1416/-). The fort is pretty but the surroundings around the fort are utterly neglected. The Bawri (water body) that was originally built in the fort is a complete mess. Instead of or in addition to restoring that the hotel has built its own swimming pool. The lunch spread was quite big, but I do wish there were more local authentic dishes. A lot of people come dolled up for pictures or romantic getaways (newlyweds), but you will be better off wearing comfortable shoes. There is a lot of up and down and very few elevators. Lastly, if you have a choice choose a day with clear blue skies as the hills around the fort make could make for a lovely drive and view (we were not so lucky with the weather)

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback about the Neemrana Fort-Palace heritage resort near Delhi. With reference to your feedback, we would like to inform you that ziplining is an outdoor and a chargeable activity which is organised by Flying fox and the ticket of the same is separate from the lunch ticket. Since the property is located mid-way between Delhi and Jaipur, there is a system of meal vouchers for non-resident guests. The weekday non-resident meal voucher (Monday-Friday) is priced at Rs. 1700 including taxes. Similarly, the non-resident meal voucher (Saturday & Sunday) is priced at Rs. 2000 including taxes. This includes entry to the Fort for 2 hours and a lavish buffet lunch for one person. This information can be verified from the hotel website. Thank you for appreciating about the spread. Please be assured that your observation has been noted and have shared the same with the Chef who shall add more authentic local cuisine. With reference to your feedback, would like to inform you that the 18thc. stepwell is outside the hotel premises and is a Govt, property. Despite the fact, several years ago, Neemrana had completely restored this 18th century stepwell, putting roofs on the rooms on the sides, building the complete boundary walls and also making stone railings so that no one would fall into the deep well. But,unfortunately, all these stone railings were broken by school going children. Despite our efforts to tell their teachers and parents, no one stopped them. So the stepwell again returned to being a ruin. We would like to thank you for your visit and look forward to welcoming you as a resident guest in the near future and would be happy to welcome you at our other properties across India ! Warm Regards, Team Neemrana feedback@neemranahotels.com

We did my younger brother’s wedding at neemrana fort from 17 th to 19 th January with 100 in resident guests In overall the experience was pleasant few things to mention 1. staff co-operation is excellent , they are available round the clock 2. Venue’s terrain is tough as fort is in diff. Levels . So if you ever do a wedding there then please spend good amount of time on room allocation as per the guest age and physical condition.Because walking and travelling within the fort is a tedious job 3. Food quality is good . 4 Room quality is good , few needs to be renovated. 5. Room sizes are very different so visit rooms before allocation if your planning to do a wedding there . The pictures on their website don’t do justice to the actual specification. 6. Overall views are spectacular and very photogenic 7. Definitely its a costly affair but yes worthy experience Hope my review helps if anything revert ill try to answer

Dear Guest, Thank you for your valuable feedback about the Neemrana Fort-Palace heritage resort near Delhi. Thank you for choosing this historical property which dates back to the 15th century and has been revitalised by Neemrana over the last three decades to celebrate a wedding ceremony. We are glad to receive your kind words about the hospitality offered, the food, the rooms and the views from the property. With the reference to your feedback, all Neemrana properties are non–hotel hotels, because they were originally built for other purposes. All efforts have been made to maintain the old charm of Fort-Palace while ensuring basic comforts that have come to be associated with the changes in lifestyle since the 15th century. We have tried to provide all the possible descriptions about the facilities and amenities offered on the website. However, we have noted your feedback and have shared with the management. We would like to thank you for your stay and look forward to welcoming you at our other properties across India ! Warm Regards, Team Neemrana feedback@neemranahotels.com

We were looking for a place to get away from Gurgaon for a short break and we decided to go to Neemrana. This turned out to be a great choice and we had one of the best vacations. The property is just beautiful and has a lot of character to it. We stayed in Aman Vilas and the view from there was just gorgeous. We dined at the property and food was excellent. The staff was extremely courteous and very polite, always going an extra step for their guests. I wanted to mention Mr Satish Kumar Bhargaw who made sure that we had a nice stay and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this place.
