The hotel is located in Alwar, away from the hustle and bustle of the town and has on three sides beautiful views of the mustard fields. It is a small fort turned into a luxury hotel. All the rooms are unique and have the old world charm. The rooms have been provided with all the modern amenities except TV. Wifi... More

January 2016.. One fine weekend we decided to spend a day off at Neemrana Fort Palace. Had heard about the place but wanted to explore on my own as I am a bit fascinated towards architecture. Searching online, we decided just to visit the fort during the permissible hours as we did not want any luxury stays which are provided... More

We spent one night at Neemrana in October, which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was our second visit, our last being in 2009. Our room in the old part of the fort was very spacious and contained many original furnishings and artifacts. As well as being very atmospheric, it was also very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets in... More

Urvashi mahal was a decent room at 14th floor. Pros : 1. Vintage look of the palace, very royal and more or less easy to drive up to it (last 200 mts is rocky) 2. Food was quite good. 3. Palace outdoors is maintained very well. Cons : 1. There is a HUGE difference between vintage and old. The bedsheets... More

it was overall a great experience to stay and enjoy the royal heritage. F&B staff needs to be a bit polite. otherwise everyone, for once at least should visit this property. zip line is also a new experience one can earn over there.

We visited this property on Saturday afternoon yesterday for overnight stay. We stayed in Ambar Burj. One of my friend's family stayed in Kailash Burj which was right below the Ambar. And another friend's family stayed at Krishna Mahal. Burj is a newly built section. Krishna is supposed to be an old heritage structure. Here are the good things to... More

The Fort Palace is a great spot and beautifully maintained. Also a great respite from Delhi pollution and only two hours away...traffic notwithstanding. Entertainment was nice and the palace takes you back to years past.

Neemrana Fort Palace is in Neemrana, a small village 2kms from the Delhi-Jaipur road in Alwar district and it’s almost 138km from Noida (approximately 120kms from India Gate). There are landmarks close to the place where you have to get off from the highway and take the normal road to the resort. Neemrana Fort Palace is built in the remains... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Many eulogies fill the visitors books at the 15th century flagship of the desert which lies only a hundred kilometres from the New Delhi airport. How, nearly three decades of passionate revitalisation of a rather formidable Chauhan ruin, have created a vibrant site for feasts, celebrations and conferences – is what merited Neemrana Fort-Palace a nomination for the Aga Khan Award. This is what the world comes to experience, and each guest carries a unique memory. Neemrana Fort-Palace. Built from 1464 CE onwards. Once a tragic ruin – now splendidly restored and revitalised to be better than before! Sprawling across 10 green hectares/25 acres, with India's first thrilling zipline. Palaces stepped over 14 levels with 72 rooms/suites, 3 conference halls, hanging gardens, private courts and balconies to romance. Two outdoor pools with a rejuvenating Spa and a health club. An intimate play area for young toddlers & the adjacent Neemrana eco-farm have been added recently so that you consume healthy organic food. Try our Maha Burj gold-platter thali for Rajasthani cuisine, or the Pan-Asian Kanak Mahal for wholesome light food to conserve your waistline. Besides these, a buffet with a variety of cuisines suits many palates. Wander the 2.4 hectares/6 acres of Palace with a self-guided multimedia tour. Ride a camel/camel cart or a vintage car. Walk out to the 16th century step well which descends 7 floors into the earth. Feel a new Indian high. To have you here is to share our life’s vision of how ruins can revitalise a whole region. Neemrana not only strive to revive and restore the heritage structure but it also generate jobs and economic reforms for locals by hiring local people. It is no wonder that Neemrana has been listed in the 100 things you must do on the planet before you leave it ! But when this list was made, only one Neemrana existed – now there are 24 ! ... more   less
