Mohan's Binsar Retreat is situated on the road to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary near Kasar Devi temple, about 8 kms before the gate to the sanctuary. Although the resort is nothing fancy, it is comfortable and serves the purpose of being a good base to explore the surrounding mountain areas (Almora and Binsar). Everything works in the room, the staff are...

This place has great ambiance with great views of the mountains. Food is great too, service was a bit slow but they keep you informed that they will need 30 to 40 minutes to prepare fresh food and serve you at that minimum time. Recommend you to visit here when you have ample time to spend. Overall a very good...

This is a very well maintained and catered property, with probably the best possible view of Nanda Devi peaks from Kasar Devi area. The rooms are neat and clean and the staff is very helping and friendly. The stay here gives you that amazing feeling of doing nothing and bask in the Sun for long duration. The food is a...

We friends stayed at Mohan's retreat and it was the most beautiful place to see the Himalayan Binsar Range. What a sight of majestic Snow capped Himalayas. Went to this place for lunch and evening tea during our stay in Binsar recently, while this place was quite a drive from our hotel but the view here will keep encouraging you to take the drive. They serve you some really good pasta's, Coffee fresh juices. It's worth a visit atleast once when you visit the hills.

It is a beautiful resort nestled in a peaceful location. The rooms are built and different levels and you go down the steps on the slopes to...

Personally I found it very beautiful and best place to reside for my trip. Once you step in the retreat you will be amazed with one or another thing. The modern amenities, the serene beauty of landscape view from there, the rooms and balconies, an so much other things. The hospitality of the staff is so wonderful that you cant...

Mohan's retreat is an unbelievable place.. right in the middle of hills with some great views of the valley (only thing missing is the view of Himalayas from the rooms). It has 10 rooms at various heights on the hill with shared balcony! Absolutely quite place where you can spend 2-3 days with yourself (if you are so inclined) and...

A quaint little joint tucked away in the hills of Almora, en route to Binsar. The exotic stony facade of the Mohan's Binsar Retreat blends rather aesthetically with the pristine surroundings. The interiors have been done with a lot of taste and the dining ambience is superb. We ate lunch out here on our drive back from Binsar. The food...
