Being an avid lover of Himalayas , I love to visit a new destination in the mountains whenever I visit India. Stayed at Mohan's Binsar retreat on our way to chaukari n munsiyari. It is a beautiful resort nestled in a peaceful location. The rooms are built and different levels and you go down the steps on the slopes to...

Personally I found it very beautiful and best place to reside for my trip. Once you step in the retreat you will be amazed with one or another thing. The modern amenities, the serene beauty of landscape view from there, the rooms and balconies, an so much other things. The hospitality of the staff is so wonderful that you cant...

Mohan's retreat is an unbelievable place.. right in the middle of hills with some great views of the valley (only thing missing is the view of Himalayas from the rooms). It has 10 rooms at various heights on the hill with shared balcony! Absolutely quite place where you can spend 2-3 days with yourself (if you are so inclined) and...

The interiors have been done with a lot of taste and the dining ambience is superb. We ate lunch out here on our drive back from Binsar. The food...

This place is located right next to Kasar devi temple on the main Almora Binsar highway. The view of valley is excellent. The open dining area overlooks the valley and is awesome. Though we stayed at other property but visited this place for lunch on two days. We tried Pasta, pizza, sandwiches, pancakes and coffee. All of these were comparable...

I visited Binsar during Dusshera break and stayed at Mohan's. The initial plan was to stay for 3 days but we extended it by another day since the view of the valley from our room was panoramic with miles and miles of woods. To add to the charm, the food was excellent and the staff, led by the owner himself,...

The boys are always on their toes to serve. The owner, Mr. Mohan himself keeps an close eye over everything. If the weather is good...
