We stayed here for one night after spending a day in Elora. The inn is very clean and very quiet and within short walking distance to Elora downtown. We found the room and bathroom very clean and do not really understand why others' review re the slippery issue about. I guess the inn has has been updated recently. For the room rate, we found it very reasonable.

Stayed one night. This is VERY clean, comfortable and quiet little motel, and the most reasonably priced. It has been updated. Family owned business. Nice people. We had a room on first floor and was able to park our car right outside the patio door, so easy access to bring your bags in and go to the car if you forget something. A short 10 min walk to the Main Street You won’t be disappointed staying at this place.

This is a very basic hotel that it's only saving grace is it's location somewhat downtown. The bathrooms need updating and the shower/tub combo is deadly, very slippery and you had to hold on to the hand rail. They charged a lot of money for a basic room, not worth it stay somewhere else.

The Village Inn is a no frills accommodation in Elora. My husband and I stayed for one night during a spontaneous fall roadtrip. The room was clean and more or less comfortable. (The bed was a bit hard and a little squeaky). The jetted tub was nice. The location is convenient. Walkable to downtown and an easy drive to nearby attractions. Would recommend for a one night stay but not an extended vacation.

The Village Inn is a nicely renovated hotel, within walking distance to downtown Elora. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room facing the back of the hotel, which was good to reduce traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a fridge and microwave. The a/c & heater unit appeared to be an all of nothing type on/off switch. You didn't set a temperature, there was just a dial for hot or cold. It didn't seem to turn off at all, so it was difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room. One suggestion would be for the hotel to upgrade to nicer shower heads, especially after doing a good job renovating the rooms/washrooms. The price was very good, and I'd definitely consider coming back again for a weekend trip.
