We spent 4 nights at Silonque and we had a really nice stay! The lodges are in the middle of a natural reserve, surrounded by nature, which creates wonderful and peaceful atmosphere. Walking around it's possible to meet wild animals such impalas and wild pigs. The traditional lodges are spacious and nice furnished. The staff ist very friendly and helpful...

Wow what a great holiday we have had. Of course nice climate, great location next to Kruger Park, etc. But the staff really nails it resulting in superb hospitality, excellent breakfasts, clean environment and so on. All staff works there for several years what says it all. At our house we had our own outside fire pit and braai for...

This is a perfect stop just before entering Kruger National Park. We arrived after a long drive from Johannesburg and really enjoyed the facilities: relax at the pool, enjoying the sunset on the big terrace and finally going to bed in very comfortable and spacious chalet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, made and served with love :) Overall the stuff...

We were looking for a quiet private place to stay for 1 night, as we had a long drive. It is self catering place with a good mattress, new pillows and good linen. The bathroom is unfortunately not up to standard, the bath is weird/home built and not hygienic, if you walk with difficulty it is not for you, as...

The kids could use a torch to watch animals. Firewood was given to us so we could make a fire. Breakfast was very nice, made with care. Good beds. Also they...

We had the most amazing stay in a stunning house set right in the bush, we were pleasantly surprised that we also had our own private hot tub which ourselves and the kids absolutely loved! Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts who were helpful, friendly and always there if you needed anything. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff...

I stayed one night on my way to another place, and so didn't hire a car, but the staff collected me from the airport and then gave me a cold bottle of water. A welcome drink at reception was lovely, and then I was driven to my chalet/villa. It was not safe to walk out at night (in case of...

The location is perfect for a visit to Kruger Park. The road up to the estate is somewhat bumpy but well worth it. The villas are very well equipped and spacious. The young dutch couple running it are lovely and very very helpful and they work together with a guide whi os very knowledgable

Beautiful lodges with private porches and outdoor grills for cooking. Very nice outdoor pools and friendly couple managing the property! It was so quiet, we enjoyed just sitting on the porch listening to the birds!
