Starting with the positives: The rooms are a nice size, clean, have air conditioning. Great beach/surf access. The negatives: No hot water throughout our stay. For the price hot water is expected and no attempt was made to fix this while we were there. They promised a selection of surfboards which actually only included 2 boards. I had to rent one at another place, adding further to my expenses. There were quite a few other exaggerations of amenities. We were told breakfast was available and there was actually no food/drink at the camp itself. The site says transportation and guides to all the local spots. The local guide had only been there for a couple months himself. There was no car/van at the site. We contacted the owner (who lives in the US) to relay our concerns and got attitude instead of an attempt to make things right. If their website listed them as only a hotel near the beach the review may be different assuming they get hot water. However when you call yourself a "surf camp" and promise multiple amenities and don't deliver you end up with unhappy customers. Unfortunately we will not be back.…
