Staff polite but not helpful. Just formal. Yesterday I asked them for a taxi for getting the airport, I asked for the price and they told me 50.000 rp, but their taxi driver asked me 100.000. The taxameter was 27.500 rp. Pay attention when book taxi. Don't pay more than 50.000 because airport is very close. Breakfast is pathetic, just some rice, noodles and coffee. Very low quality. Apparently staff speak English but they don't understand absolutely nothing, they just know some words, like airport and car, breakfast. One of the guy at the reception smiles all the time if you ask me something, he looks like no so much clever. Prices for rooms are very high, no shower inside, only a cup for water. sheets not clean. Not recommended. Around here there are some other hotels for cheaper prices. …
Rooms are a bit run down. The location is very good. Handy for good eateries and shops, including a Carrefour. The reception looks very swish, but our basic room had no shower or bath. The ac worked ok and it was clean. It just didn't deliver what it promised from the look of the reception. They advertise an airport shuttle, but we had to order a taxi to the airport as they didn't seem to understand. Ok. Just about.
The hotel is located in the centre of Palu city (as the name suggested). I stayed there for 4 nights. The condition of the rooms are adequately clean, but the bathroom needs renovation, in my opinion. Easy access to shopping centre and souvenir shops.
This hotel has obviously have passed it's prime, there's kind of a sad vibe to it. Some of the rooms are old but they are clean tho. Decent breakfast. The reception speaks English and they we're able to book a shared van for us to Rantepao. Close to the center.
Big hotel. As the name suggests it is centrally located in Palu. Shopping Mall and beer-shop 5-10 minutes away on foot. To get to the beach (within the city) you have to take bemo or ojek (there are plenty around) or walk almost half an hour. Some grocery shops and a lot of restaurants on the street just outside the hotel. Also several bakeries close by. Even though the central location the hotel is quiet. The rooms are away from street noise. Beds are comfortable. There are comfy chairs in the room. No Smoking in the room. TV with english channels (mostly sports). Wifi was not stable and often no access at all. Fridge in the room. Small minibar. Bathroom clean (with bathtub and hot water). Western toilet, towel and toilet paper are provided. Paid 350 000 per night. 10% discount if you stay five or more nights. Breakfast was varied but a lot of ants around which makes it look unclean. Staff at the reception speak some english. Do not use their own car with driver. They charge too much for that (like 150 000 to go to the port in Pantoloan).…
i not recommended for this hotel, the value ; rate this hotel is cheap and strategic locations. but the staff is not friendly, poor breakfast (only toast and fried rice with tea/coffee), the room is not cleans, and the very poor : my friend in standard room at ground floor (same with lobby room) have mouse in bathroom ... errrrghh. very very terible moment for him .. he move to our room in first floor ..
This is not a fancy hotel or meet any standard. But it was quite fair for its price. The room was big and clean enough for me. I was staying in Deluxe room. They got satelite TV, a bath tub, and a minibar. The location is good. Close enough to the mall. But if you're in for the beach, then this hotel should be out of your choice The funny thing was the breakfast, sometimes they asked to have breakfast in the function room across the lobby and sometimes the breakfast was delivered to your room. There were only 3 choices, bread, fried rice, and chicken porridge, every day. Prepare to get bored.
