Palu has a good beach resort, name amazing city beach resort. The views of the sea on the backyard of the hotel are very good. The interior is very well. We can enjoy seating on the bench before the sea. The room is very clean. I guess it's perfect hotel. I recomend you to stay here.

Overall we had a reasonably good stay here. Hotel is clearly aimed at Indonesian travelers and not at international visitors. Staff hardly speaks any english - even at the reception not even basic words. Room looks clean, but when I pulled the bed from the wall I found 3 huge dead cockroaches and a lot of dust. Rooms are quite large, with aircon and flat screen TV which has some international channels. Wifi is slow when it works. Breakfast buffet is okay, if you ask for more european stuff like butter, jam and coffee milk. Dinner in the restaurant is quite okay. The pool water has a toxic green colour, so swimming is out of the question. Hotel is quite far from the city center and there is absolutely nothing to do in the neighborhood, so you either eat in the hotel or take a taxi into town for about 100.000 rupia ($7). The most amazing thing about this Amazing City Beach Resort is that it has NO beach. And Palu is far from amazing - it is rather boring and unattractive. Bottomline ; it's fine for a overnight stay in between flight etc. Do not book this for your honeymoon!…

I have to go to Palu as soon as possible and unfortunately all hotel is already full booked. My admin from office kinda hard to find a hotel and end up I got a hotel in here. Room : 3 of 5 (the AC didnt work so well) Service : 4 of 5 (the receptionist was kind to me because she was offering me to upgrade from deluxe to juniorsuite for free) Breakfast : 2 of 5 (their rate on the spot is 800k IDR but their breakfast not worth it at all for that amount) Thank God, I just had to stay for one night 😅

I travelled to Palu alone for the eclipse and stayed at amazing beach resort for 4 nights. The room was plain but clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. There was a language barrier but the manager Irfan was able to speak English. He was so nice and accommodating and made me feel safe and welcome. They helped me with transportation as well and the hotel driver was excellent. I highly recommend staying at amazing beach. I will definitely come back there!

This hotel is located quite far from city center (about 7 km) and only have few rooms. The good thing is you can get the best sunrise view in Palu. Just go outside your room and go to the beach which is located inside the hotel area. Overall, this hotel is Great to enjoy Palu if you have limited budget. PS: This hotel swimming pool is in poor condition.
