We stayed for a wedding in the family room- it's huge. All the staff at the hotel were really accommodating with our little girl keeping milk and food in the fridge and heating it for us when we needed it. They had set up the cot for us for when we arrived. We had dinners at the hotel and the...

Took my family, parents and grandparents out for sunday lunch here. The people on the phone where very helpful and the service and venue were welcoming. The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. Very impressed and the prices were reasonable. An all-round positive experience. We shall be going back again.

We only used the Restaurant of this small town Hotel but arrived to a very casual welcome, took our table to study what is a long and quite interesting menu. I ordered a sprat starter & confit of Lamb to follow & the quality & presentation was good but the quantities enormous. The spratts were a meal in themselves so...

What a real gem of a place this is. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the hotel for dinner because the food was so very good. Cooked with great care and attention to detail. Breakast was equally good with some lovely touches - back and streaky bacon, poached eggs on toasted muffins, home made preserves. Highly recommended.

Standards of maintenace are high Staff friendly Restaurant is good but can be busy at weekends so book Price vary wildly depending on what is going on at Snape Maltings Theatre/opera No parking next to hotel but two places...

My wife and two sons booked a table here for all of us to enjoy a Fathers Day breakfast. On arrival, there seemed to be a staffing issue as the staff working were literally running between rooms for some reason, and we were shown to a table that was so close to the next one, that we advised to all...

Being local to The Bell at Sax we obviously don't take a room there , but do enjoy eating there, on our first visit one friday night my wife and I enjoyed a pre dinner couple of drinks in the friendly bar and perused the menu, we decided on the shared fish platter starter to get us going ( £12:75...

I have just returned from a 4-week stay at The Bell while I worked on the BBC's Springwatch programme at nearby RSPB Minsmere. I entered the hotel for the first time for what would be "home" for the following 4 weeks with a sense of trepidation. I was not disappointed! The hotel has character, is clean and comfy and all...

On Saturday I was attending a concert at the Maltings at Snape and I found the Bell which was only 10 mins drive away. I stayed for 2 nights and was immediately made very welcome by staff who seemed capable of doing every job in the hotel!! I had been warned( after I booked) that some rooms require a lot...

This was a real gem to find! I am extremely fussy about good food and was blown away by the menu here. It was fresh, true to the region and impeccably presented and incredibly tasty. I ate far too much, having ordered a number of starters instead of a main (because they all sounded so good). However, I didn't regret...
