If you enjoy scenic surrounds and your own company, this is the place to stay. Comfy with everything you need to totally chill out. Friendly staff who are only too happy to ensure you enjoy yourself. Didn't make use of the restaurant and bar - maybe next time. Took loads of photos and will try and upload a few. IT...

This establishment meets all expectations: a scenic setting on the edge of a large dam surrounded by mountain ranges. The unit itself is well-equipped for self-catering and a large private braai area overlooking the dam is available for use. This resort has no shortcomings if you are looking for a rustic setting with all the mod cons. You have full...

We stayed at the venue on our wedding weekend, beautiful place, value for money and good food. The amenities were suited to what you would expect and the rooms were very clean, we will definitely go again.

Stayed here for three nights just after New Year. There was some confusion on check in with our original chalet not being available, and the one we had been moved to we were not happy with as it was much closer to the resort centre / restaurant and thus less peaceful and not as good a view. However after emailing...

We felt the description that the web gave was very misleading when it stated that the accommodation was luxurious . The chairs were very uncomfortable and the decor was plain and didn't have any personal touch whatsoever. Very disappointed indeed.

Linda the owner was welcoming from the start. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and there was a lot of attention to detail. The self catering facilities...

If you want to relax and just get away from the everyday-stress, then Bydidam is the place to go. We had a fantastic break at this lovely, self-catering cottage, that is situated on a beautiful dam just ourside citrusdal. Linda & Hennie were the perfect hosts and can be very proud of their establishment. The Cottages are very well equipped...
