Pension Suwanomori is a small and quiet guesthouse a ten minute and 1000 yen taxi drive out of Fujiyoshida town on the road leading to Mt. Fuji and near the Kitaguchihongufujisengen Shrine. It offers both traditional Japanese and western style rooms. My choice was the traditional Japanese, and the one was I was given was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable....

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a couple of days before my climb of Mt. Fuji. The people were lovely and the room was great. I chose a traditional Japanese room, the futon was comfortable and I was happy the whole stay. Breakfast was provided and was delicious but lunch and dinner were not provided. The owners spoke...

We were picked up by the arranged shuttle and learned that the place is far away from the town center and offers stinky dampy room . Dinner was mentioned to be served at 1730 on booking.com website but as we verified it's not true. It's a terrible still expensive place 130 $ a night. If you want to enjoy your...
