The Murano Palace is nicely situated a few minutes from the Vaporetto pier and above the hotel owners shop. Getting from the airport to the B & B hotel easy by use of a 8€ one way ticket purchased at the airport, and by the public Vaporetto a 20 minute journey, slower but a lot cheaper than the advertised £85...

It's a truely lovely hotel. Cesar the owner makes you feel extremely welcome and is very informative. The hotel is in an ideal location, away from the busy city and on a very pretty island. Restaurants and bars do not stay open too late on Murano as there are not many hotels. One of the water buses though is 24...

After a great trip to Venice last year, we chose Murano as our honeymoon destination. Cannot fault the experience. From the first minute when we were met canal side by Cesar after arriving late into the night we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much for Cesar; as mentioned in other reviews, he is a fantastic host who could...

Amazing quaint b&b. Cesar was an absolute gem. Perfect host! So helpful. Always smiling. Wonderful continental breakfast with cappuccino, lattes, Americano, tea etc. Beds very comfortable with unique decor in each room. Quiet. Close to water taxis and all amenities. Will definitely stay here again

The host is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home. The hotel is close to the important attractions and in my opinion it is better to stay in Murano than in Venice to be able to enjoy. I say this because Venice is overcrowded. The hotel is basic but very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay....

Not only was the room beautiful, and the bathroom ultra modern, but the host was outstanding. He drew maps for our visits to surrounding areas. He gave us good recommendations for shopping. He served us personally for breakfast, and made sure we were well taken care of. The hotel is, as the host will remind you, strategically located to be...

We were really pleased to find this place in Murano which is just a 15 mins ferry trip from Venice and much less touristy but as beautiful. The rooms were old fashioned in decor but comfortable and the best and quietest air conditioning (I slept better here than anywhere else in Italy, in a hot summer), and views over the...

We stayed in a small family group in July 2016. The reason for the trip was my mother's 84th birthday. I mentioned this to our very charming and courteous host, explaining our trip to Murano/ Venice. We were then delighted to discover that he had bought a lovely floral present for my mother to celebrate her birthday. Needless to say...

This was our last stop of a 17 day Italy tour! Great choice at Murano Palace, Cesare was the best and most accommodating host. He showed us the best ways to get around and recommended places to eat. On our last day he gave us a tour of his factory and we were able to watch the glass blowers in...

We have just returned from the most romantic weekend break away staying at Murano Palace. Cesare is an amazing host, he personally met us from the vaporetto which I felt was a very personal touch. We stayed in a room with balcony overlooking the canal, it was beautifully decorated and very clean. We are glad we stayed on Murano Island...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What are the benefits of staying in Murano? And why Murano and Hotel Murano Palace attracts more than Venice? - The island of Murano has a strategic location at the center of the lagoon that allows, compared to Venice, connections faster and easier. In fact, from Venice "Marco Polo" you can use the direct waterbus "Alilaguna Blue" and in 25 minutes arrive to Murano (1 ° stop "Murano Colonna") and in only 3 minutes walk to the hotel. - From Santa Lucia train station and from Piazzale Rome depart ACTV waterbus Line 3 (Direct Murano) - 1 ° stop "Murano Colonna." - The connection to Venice is guaranteed all day and night. - Practical and convenient for guests arriving by water taxi as the hotel overlooking the canal. - Convenient, since only a few meters away is the ferry to the islands of Burano and Torcello. - Few people know that every 10 minutes there is a boat that in just 8 minutes reach Venice. - Murano is also greatly appreciated by our guests as far away from the chaos of the city of Venice, enjoy a quiet and relaxing. - Murano Palace offers charming rooms furnished with fine fabrics in '700 Venetian style and is located in a prestigious location in the heart of the island which faces one of its main channels - the Rio dei Vetrai where are the major stores and more prestigious names in the glass like Murano Barovier and Toso, Venini, Berengo Studio, Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto, Dino Rosin. ... more   less
