Great site. Food excellent. No bedside light in rooms. comfortable bed. Stove in room not great for asthmatics. Why no electric blankets? Very expensive for what you get. Wine prices outrageous! Will we use it again? No.

Amazing stop at the highest pub in Africa! Wind ice cold but atmosphere very warm inside Burgers were huge and amazing. Can get very busy with large tour groups and quite small inside especially the scenic side Gluhwein a must. The pass is absolutely stunning. Prices very reasonable

Perfectly situated at the top of Sani Pass, the Sani Mountain Lodge offers stunning views and a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially after your 4x4 journey up the pass. A drink at the "Highest Pub in Africa" is a must. We stayed in a rondavel that was rustic but very cosy and kept warm with an anthracite oven that is...

Driving up Sani pass was supposed to be the highlight of our four week road trip. The pass didn't disappoint but the facilities at the summit was dismal. I'm pretty sure if people didn't want to go up Sani pass and had no choice but to use these facilities, it wouldn't survive. The views are magnificent and the pub cozy....

The drive up the SaniMountain Pass, crossing through customs into Lesotho where we had fresh bread in a village hut, seeing a bit of local life, and the spectacular scenery were topped off with a meal shared with new friends at the Sani Mountain Lodge. Theeer and wine selection was surprising for such a remote spot; the meal was good...

Sani Mountain Lodge is superbly located at the top of Sani Pass and has magnificient views of the mountain tops. There are a...

We loved our stay at this backpackers - staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and cozy despite the snow outside ! However, we were not impressed by the fees for the shuttle up (350R per person). We found that actually anybody reasonably fit and with a light pack could probably walk up (but make sure the weather...

We stayed overnight at the Sani Mountain Lodge before driving the Sani Pass the next day. The Lodge offers different types of accomodation from camping and backpackers to rondavals/rooms. The rooms are equipped with a double-bed, duvets, blankets, a charcoal oven and a nice bathroom with a shower. You get two different dinner options with starter, main course and dessert...

After a long drive through Lesotho we stopped at Sani Mountain Lodge for a drink and something to eat. Although the food is average, the service was efficient and very friendly. This is why I have rated the place "very good". The prices are a bit high, but keep in mind that they are miles away from supplies, and have...

Lovely location at the top of Sani Pass. Rooms well equipped with anthracite fires and warm bedding for the cold weather and snow that we experienced. The pub has great atmosphere and we had really good home style food in the restaurant with a large variety of dishes. Service was excellent.
